- Bow (decorative - made of plastic, tapes can be used)

Step-by-step instruction:

Let's start making our postcard from the main blanks. We take the cardboard, if it is larger, then cut it out to fit 30 * 30. Then add it in half. This will be the basis for our craft. We now turn to the preparation of the elements for the future herringbone. We take colored paper (it can be a magazine, pages from an unnecessary book, packing paper), we took with patterns. Using a ruler and a pencil we draw rectangles of the same length (7-10 cm), but of different widths - from 13 cm to 2 cm (12 pieces). Each next rectangle is less than the previous one by 1 cm. Cut out the resulting shapes.
Now we will not return to the postcard for a long time: on the front of the postcard we glue with PVA glue (you can use the Moment glue) paper with a convex pattern (15 * 30) in size so that the whole front part is covered and seemed to be bulky. You can combine the color of the future tree and paper, fantasize and create your own unique style (for example: fir-tree-light green and dark-green, background - yellow or blue, Christmas tree - monophonic, background - colorful, etc.) . - We will make our Christmas tree. Take the rectangles in turn, start with a small rectangle (you can vice versa with a large one), on a pencil or a felt-tip pen, we wind the paper with the entire length, at the end we glue the PVA glue (glue Moment) with the end so that the figure does not turn when removed from the pencil, let the glue dry completely and gently move our workpiece to the end of the pencil, and remove it. So do with all 12 rectangles.
- After all our pieces of rectangles are ready to take and glue them. We start from the larger (13 cm) and gradually going to the smaller (2 cm.) Figure carefully glued in a flat strip.
- Let's dry out our resulting Christmas tree. Look at what it turned out to be colorful, but we have not even decorated it yet. You can use for her any colors and, depending on this, make up your individual and unique spruce. It all depends on you, your creativity and desire.
- Now we will connect our Christmas tree with a postcard. We glue it on the PVA glue (glue Moment) to the front part, on which before the paper was applied with three-dimensional figures. After our Christmas tree is attached, and the glue dries, go to the final stage: the decor. For him, you can also use any material you like (beads, bugles, bows, buttons, tinsel, etc.). We took a big beautiful and iridescent glass bead (you can find both a star for this purpose and a cone). To paste it on the top of our Christmas tree, we take a few layers of double-sided scotch, paste them in a stack of small squares and then when the height is equal to the tree we attach the glass beaker (you can paste several cards on each other, then glue the glass with the glue).
- The top of the tree is decorated, we decorate it further. We attach the cufflinks (we took specially with the tips, so it was convenient to attach them, and they did not fall out) in a chaotic order on the perimeter of our figure. We will write on our obverse part our congratulations, and also inside your warm wishes for the New Year. The final touch - we glue a beautiful shiny bow under our largest glass beads.
