• The most important organ of the heart, already fully fulfills its function (pumping blood throughout the body);

• at the eighth week of pregnancy, the stomach, intestines and kidneys are already fully formed - and perform their usual function;
• sweat glands appear on the feet and palms of the baby, salivary glands form;
• the optic nerve begins to form;
• Muscular and bone tissue begins to develop actively;
• Already in the mother's belly, the first taste preferences are formed in the baby, as taste buds appear on the tongue by the end of the second month, and it is very important for the expectant mother to monitor the correctness of nutrition. Malnutrition can not only negatively affect a child's development, but will also shape his taste preferences in the future;
• At this stage, olfactory receptors begin to form in the nose, but the nasal passages will be closed to the very mucus glands.
By eight weeks, the baby usually grows from 14 to 20 mm, and weighs up to 1 g. He starts to move, but due to the fact that the fruit is still very small, the future mom does not feel the stirring.

At the eighth week of pregnancy, there is still a negative impact on the child due to infectious diseases, but the side effects of medications are significantly reduced.
In the eight weeks of pregnancy, the likelihood of toxicosis increases, which usually occurs by the twelfth week. There may be pain in the lower abdomen and spotting - these symptoms require urgent medical intervention.
During sleep or rest, there may be pain in the hips and pelvis - it is recommended to lie down on the other side to eliminate pain.
There may be digestive disorders - bloating, heartburn, constipation.
In the physiology of the future mother, significant changes occur, the tummy begins to round up and the chest grows.
During pregnancy, a woman grows younger - nails become stronger, the color and structure of the hair improves, the skin becomes smooth and supple.

Recommendations for a woman during the eighth week of pregnancy.

• Regular medical examination and urinalysis are required;
• Eat right, remember that you can eat whatever you want, but minimize the use of harmful foods: citrus, sweet, spicy, fatty and salty;
• Constantly watch your weight at this stage in normal weight gain to one kg, by the end of pregnancy to 100 g;
• A beneficial influence on the development of the child is provided by classical music, or by a quiet quiet melody;
• Avoid stress; give up alcohol and smoking;
• Sexual relationships are not prohibited, but it is worth abandoning them if the pregnant woman has unpleasant sensations in the abdomen during sexual intercourse.
