Hard childhood.
Alexander was born into a large family. Pankratov-Cherny was born on the twenty-eighth of June 1949. In general, the biography of the actor began after the war. And, as everybody knows, the years then were very hard and hungry. The biography of almost everyone who was born at that time was tarnished by black paints of deprivation and grief. Pankratov-Black was no exception. Alexander lost his brother and sister. The children died of hunger. When he was three years old, he lost his father. The fact that his father fought at the front, received many injuries, from which his health deteriorated significantly. In 1952 he passed away. Sasha stayed with his mother and sister. It was very difficult to live. But, nevertheless, Alexander dreamed of entering the theater. Therefore, when the guy graduated from the seven-year school, he went to enter the Gorky Theater School. Sasha knew that no one would ever help him. And not because they do not want to. On the contrary, my mother loved him very much and worried. Simply, she did not have the means to provide that life to the son, about which she dreamed. But, Sasha never demanded anything from his mother. He himself tried everything and was genuinely happy with the parcel with potatoes and bacon. True, there still lay a huge letter, where my mother and sister told him everything and asked him questions. It was because of him that the parcel turned out to be big. Once, local hooligans decided to take Alexander from the parcel, believing that they sent him a lot. And then they returned it and asked for forgiveness. They were ashamed of the fact that they took the last from a guy who is poorer than themselves. But, it is worth noting that such cases have never knocked Alexander out of the rut. He always knew how to enjoy life and everything around him. Pankratov-Black is by nature very cheerful person. When he was little, he wanted to become not an actor, but a clown. It was the clown who gave people fun and joy, was closest to Alexander. In addition, Alexander is also a very adventurous person. He always went without fear to the most risky enterprises, and, more often than not, fate rewarded him for fearlessness. Perhaps that is why, Alexander never gave up, she dropped her hands, and, eventually, achieved all that we know him for, we respect and love.
How Pankratov became Black.
When Alexander graduated from the Gorky Theater School, and it happened in 1969, the guy started working in the Penza Drama Theater. But, after a while, Alexander realized that he was also very interested in directing. Therefore, Pankratov-Black decided to go to VGIK. He graduated from the school in 1976, having finished studying at the workshop of Yefim Dzigan. By the way, it is worth noting that the real name of Alexander is Pankratov. Simply, when he studied at VGIK, one of the classmates was also Pankratov. Alexander decided that there should not be two directors with the same surname. And since he did not want to change the name, he decided to take the console. Because of the color of the hair, many often called it Black. That's how Pankratov became Pankratov-Black.
Initially, Alexander was positioned as an unknown actor from the province. No one paid much attention to him. But, in the end, the situation began to change. In 1978, Sasha got a role in the film by A. Mikhalkov-Konchalovsky "Sibiriada". The guy was noticed, but the real popularity came to him after the films "We are from jazz", and also "The Winter Evening in Gagra". It was the film "We are from Jazz", became one of the favorite for Alexander. The fact is that if many actors who play in comedies dream of dramatic roles, then Pankratov-Cherny, on the contrary, always wanted to play a character in which he could fully reveal his comedic talent. It was thanks to the picture "We are from jazz", Alexander succeeded. Therefore, to this day he dreams of again starring in a similar film to play such a hero in which he can realize all his professional dreams.
But, it is not necessary to consider, that Alexander did not play dramatic heroes. Of course, in his filmography there are such characters. For example, his hero Gennady in the movie "Where is the nofelet." So, you can say, Alexander is talented both as a comedian and as a dramatic actor. Simply, it is much more pleasant to amuse people, and closer to the soul.
By the way, it is worth noting that Pankratov-Cherny, after all, did not in vain finish the director's faculty. He also became a director-director, taking pictures such as "The Adult Son", "The Adventures of Count Nevzorov".
A versatile person.
Alexander is a very talented and versatile person. In addition to acting and directing, he is also a poet. Verses of Alexander printed in newspapers and issued compilations. He is even a member of the Writers' Union of Russia.
And yet, Alexander - kind and sympathetic. However, this is not surprising, because he himself experienced privations, and now he tries to help those who got into the same situation as much as possible. That's why, Pankratov-Cherny is actively engaged in charity. He helps children with disabilities, heads a charitable foundation. Alexander does this not because it is so fashionable now, but because he wants to help people who really need it.
Probably, because of the desire to help others, Pankratov-Black, even tried his hand at politics. But, unfortunately, his unit did not pass, because he could not get the right number of votes.
In general, we can say that Alexander's life has developed successfully and happily. In addition to achievements in his career, he also has a wonderful family, consisting of the wife of Julia and his son Vladimir. Vladimir followed in the footsteps of his father, first he studied in the circus, which he threw after Nikulin's death, and then graduated from GITIS. So, Alexander has what and who to be proud of.
