Inflorescences are small white flowers without a smell. Chlorophytum is considered a long-lived among indoor plants - in an apartment it can grow and bloom for about twelve years. In addition, it is not just the decoration of your house, the flower has a lot of useful properties, including cleans the air of the room from harmful impurities and carbon dioxide. That's why you can safely put it somewhere in the kitchen near the stove. If you do not have hydrogen peroxide at hand, the juice of this plant can be used as a weak antiseptic with open wounds.

Reproduction of chlorophytum

Grow this plant at home is not difficult. It is only necessary to find someone with an adult chlorophytum, on the shoots of which will grow small bushes, the so-called children. They need to be carefully cut off from the parental shoot, then put in a glass with warm filtered water. Then wait until the young plant gives the roots, and after boldly plant the flower in the pot with soil or peat soil.

Home care
