Knitted summer bag crochet - step by step instruction

Inside the bag

  1. We take a thick fabric or leatherette and measure a rectangle measuring 17cm by 27 cm.

  2. Gently glue the right, left and bottom parts of the piece.

On a note! We did not sew the inner part of the bag in order to make the product more convenient to wash. In addition, you can make several internal frames of different colors, textures and change them to mood or outfit.

The main part of the summer bag crocheted

In our master class, the summer bag is crocheted from individual squares connected together. For the main part of the finished bag you will need 12 knitted square motifs.

  1. For a square motif, we collect 4 air loops and connect them to a ring. We fix 4 air lifting loops and weave according to scheme 1.

  2. Then we knit the so-called bochek from 3 columns with 2 nakidami, tied together and continue in a circle.

  3. The next row starts with 6 air loops. We loop the loops in a column without a crochet between the two barrels of the lower row according to the scheme 1.

  4. The next row begins with 3 air loops and we knit according to the scheme to the end of the motif.

  5. We apply square motives to our basis. Similarly we knit 12 square motifs.

Flip-flop crochet summer bag

Instead of a fastener in our summer handbag, the crochet will be a comfortable flip part, the asymmetry of which, add the product of originality. It will require 3 square and 2 triangular motifs.

  1. According to the scheme, we unite 1 three square motifs, similar to those that will be used for the main part of the bag.
  2. Then, according to Scheme 2, we knit 2 triangular motifs.

  3. First, we dial 4 air loops and connect them to the ring.

  4. We dial 7 air loops to go to the next row and knit according to the scheme 2.

  5. The second row begins with 4 air loops and we sew a column without a crochet between two barrels of the bottom row and so on to the end of the row.

  6. The third row starts with 6 air loops and we knit according to scheme 2.

Assembling a summer knitted bag

  1. We connect the motives of one side of the bag to each other. We dial in the corner of the square motive 3 the air loops and connect it with another motif.

  2. Then we dial 3 air loops and connect to the next motive, and so on to the end.

  3. Similarly, we connect the next strip of three motifs.

  4. Now we connect two strips of motifs to each other.

  5. In the same way, we connect the motives of the other side of the bag. Then we arrange rectangles of motifs on each other and connect the left, right and bottom parts with columns without a crochet.

  6. We turn the product out and insert the base.

  7. In the above-described way we connect the motives of the flip part of the bag.

  8. The back of the bag is tied in two rows with columns with one cuff.

  9. Then we connect the folded part of the bag with the main part without the crochet. The bag is almost ready.

Lanyard for summer bag, crocheted

  1. For the strap, we collect 7 air loops and three air lifting loops.

  2. The first row is knitted as follows: 6 sticks with one cuff on 7 air loops.

The second row starts with lifting 3 air loops and we continue to knit the bars with one overture and so on to the desired height, periodically trying on the bag.

On a note! Strap is better to sew on the bottom and sides of the bag so that the bottom of the product is less slack. But if the inner base is dense, for example, from the skin, then you can sew the laces at the very top edge.
  3. We sew sewing threads with bag strap.
