Viktor Grigoryevich Il'ichev, was born in Leningrad on February 5, 1946. As a child, Viktor studied at the children's studio at the Theater. The Leningrad City Council. In 1967 he graduated from the theater director Georgy Tovstonogov at the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema and was one of the best graduates of the famous director. In the same year he became an actor of the Leninsky Theater named after the Leningrad City Council, then worked in the Theater. Komissarzhevskaya. Ilyichev has several serious theatrical works on his list: Alyosha (Przewalski's Horse), de Jussac (The Three Musketeers).

After graduation, in 1968 Victor at a celebratory evening at the WTO on Nevsky Prospekt met a young graduate of the Vaganovsk School Svetlana, with whom they married a year later and lived together for life.

Viktor Grigoryevich's film career began during his studies in 1966, he starred in the episode of the film "The Elder Sister." Since 1977, he works as an actor at the Lenfilm studios. It should be noted that up to this point he has already had 13 films and the main role in the film "The Personal Life of Kuzyaev Valentine" under the direction of Ilya Averbakh and Igor Maslennikov, this film is considered by many to be his best work. In total the filmography of the actor totals 81 paintings. He worked a lot at studios in Moscow, Odessa, Leningrad and other cities, he became a deserved artist of the RSFSR, he can be called a national artist by the degree of recognition and popularity without a twinge of conscience. Among the films of Ilyichev there are very famous and favorite scenes of the Russian audience, such as "The Dog in the Manger" (1977, the role of servant Fabio); "Trust that burst" (1983, played by Rufus); "Victor Glushakov - a friend of the Apaches" (1983, in the role of Gennady Stepanovich); "Genius" (1991, played by Makar); "The Chronicle of the Dive Bomber" (1967, in the role of Osadchy); "Fraka for the Shoal" (1979, Georgy Myakishev's syglal); "Inspector GAI" (1982, the role of Andrianov); "The Green Van" (1983, played Fedka Byka).

In 1995, as a result of financial problems and other horrors of Russia, Viktor Grigoryevich forever emigrated with his wife Svetlana Osiyeva, a former ballerina of the Mariinsky Theater and son Michael in the US (Boca Raton, Florida). Victor's wife went by invitation to the ballet school. In the States, Victor encountered a lack of demand for himself as an actor: he was not invited to Russia, and it was simply impossible to get to Hollywood without the perfect knowledge of the language. Nevertheless, the actor did not lose his pride, did not begin to exchange for all sorts of petty roles and found work not connected with creativity. Ten years after the move, Ilyichev was invited by director Anatoly Eyramdzhan to star in three low-budget comedy films - "Brave Reflex", "The Marriage in 24 hours" and "Without Breaking the Law", this film was the final in the film career of Viktor Grigorievich in 2004. As Eyramdzhan himself later said, "I was satisfied with it, he played without a doubt professionally", but the fees for these films were also low-budget - 2000-3000 dollars. When Ilyicheva was invited to the shooting again in a year by Anatoly Eyramdzhan, the actor asked for payment of his work a little higher and was refused, and did not appear in the film "The Gift of Nature".

In 2010, the actor found cancer, the disease was in a state of neglect. She was tried to be treated in a hospital in the University of Miami, where several complex operations were carried out. Somewhat later the doctors discovered metastases, the treatment was in vain, to cure Victor Ilyichev unfortunately failed. He died on October 8, 2010, at the age of 65 in the small town of Boca Raton on the southeast coast of Florida.
