Where to place. The most favorable place for abutilone is the spacious window sill, and also near the window. This flower does not need sunlight all day, it is quite enough two or three hours, when the sun's light will come into contact with the shoots. In winter, the most favorable temperature is just above fifteen degrees, on this basis, the abutilone is placed on the coolest window. However, as the temperature is further lowered, leaves fall out in the room. However, the flower does not like and room heat over twenty-five degrees, it will be more correct in this case to move it to a loggia or balcony space. If there is glazed, then protect the plant from direct sun rays and provide fresh air. It is important to remember that you should not allow drafts and water the flower in time.

Care of flowers. Careful care for these room colors do not need to spend. It completely dispenses with placing in pottery pots, the size of which must be selected for the growth of the flower. The growth rate of the flower is quite high, over the summer it can grow up to a hundred centimeters. It makes sense to periodically cut the top point of growth. Another option is to shorten abutilone exactly halfway before the beginning of spring.

Watering and feeding. The moisture-loving abutilone is very demanding for watering throughout the spring, summer and early autumn. Watering is carried out once or twice a week. In winter (from late autumn), the intensity of irrigation is reduced, two or three times a month. However, you need to ensure that the soil in the pot does not dry out, otherwise shoots and leaves undergo fading, become yellow and may even fall off, the appearance of flowers stops.

From the beginning of spring, the feeding of the plant begins, which lasts until the middle of autumn, approximately every two weeks: three teaspoons of water with one teaspoon of "Agricola for flowering plants," and one tablespoon of "Effektona for indoor plants." Later this procedure is changed: instead of "Agricola" apply "Nitrofosk", and "Effeton" is replaced with "Lignohumate" in the same proportions. Based on the age of abutilone, apply from one glass to one liter of such solutions.

By March, lateral shoots appear, they need to be plucked in order to increase flowering. If necessary, transplant the flower, this is done in early spring. The new residence of the abutile should be chosen so that the pot is not much larger than the previous one - up to five centimeters more in diameter and height. Violating such proportions, it is possible to delay flowering due to the excessive volume of the pot.

Reproduction. Abutilon is relatively simple to reproduce by the seed method. Seeds are sown closer to the middle of spring in potted soil, which should be sufficiently moistened. Seeds are covered with wet sand, placed under glass and stored in a bright room. The most favorable temperature for seeds is twenty degrees. Germination occurs in two to three weeks. This method is used to propagate green leafy abutylol, or cut off the cuttings and achieve germination in water, wet sand, under a cellophane package. Abutilone variegated in the spring period is propagated through cuttings of apical stems.

Diseases and pests. The most common pests of abutilon are aphids and spider mites. As a rule, the prevention of sprays with Iskra is very helpful in the following proportion: one-tenth of the tablet is dissolved in a liter of water. After spraying, the plants are covered with gauze material. Norm of the drug - twice with a break in a week. Also apply "Fitoverm" in the proportion: one ampoule per liter of water.
