  9. We wrap the lower part of the paper carnation with a floral tape, forming the base of the bud.

How to make a carnation from paper in stages, a master class with a photo

Original carnations from corrugated paper can create both adults and children in school and kindergarten. On how to make them, we learn from a detailed master-class with a phased photo.

Necessary materials

Step-by-step instruction

  1. Cut a few strips of red paper, about 2 - 2.5 cm in width. One sheet of paper leaves for one flower.

  2. Cut these strips to the same size squares (if there are small pieces, do not throw away, they will still come in handy).

  3. Each square is folded neatly in half.

  4. And once again in half.

  5. Then we cut off the outer edges in the shape of a semicircle.

  6. On the outside of our workpieces for paper studs, make frequent cuts to a depth of 1 cm, as shown in the photo.

  7. A small piece of red paper (which remained from the blanks) is wound on the blunt edge of a bamboo stick and fixed with a tape tape. This will be the middle of our future carnations by May 9th.

  8. We pass on the wand the first circle-workpiece (in the middle of the circle we make the opening), we squeeze it around the stick. Uniformly straighten the edges of our flower.

  9. Next, we do the same with the rest of the circles. So we get a very attractive carnation from corrugated paper.

  10. Next, with a tape tape, we wind the entire wand. So we get the stem of our flower. We cut out oblong leaves from the green paper. Enough of 3 or 4 leaves.

  11. Tape tape tie leaves with stems. After that our carnations, made with our own hands, look as if they were only cut from the bush.

  12. To make the bouquet harmonious, add a few more white flowers. We make them according to the same scheme as the red ones.
