At the end of December each year since 1988, Alla Pugacheva holds Christmas meetings. This beautiful tradition gathers dozens of the most famous singers, popular composers and performers. The first 12 years the program was broadcast on the First Channel, then on RTR. Christmas meetings are aired on the eve of Orthodox Christmas. This is a festive traditional concert, timed to the Christmas holidays. Alla Pugacheva's Christmas Meetings are very popular with TV viewers and prestigious for show business representatives.
Stories and Traditions
The first 4 years, as well as in 1997 and in 2012, the meeting was held in front of the audience in the Olympic sports complex. Then they were shot only for television without spectators. Once a meeting at the dacha of the star Valery Leontiev, there were also years when the meetings were filmed at the dacha at the very Primadonna, at the Operetta Theater, at the Sports Palace in Kiev. In some years, no meetings were held, this was due to the concertload of the famous Russian pop diva. Every year the artists invited to the meeting changed.
In 2001, the Christmas Eve of 2002 released a 12-series series - Remembering Christmas. In each series of the film it was told about the next meeting and the best performances, memories of the speakers and comments by Pugacheva were shown. The author of the series - Gleb Skorokhodov then released the book Alla and Christmas on the script of the series, which was published more than once. In 2012, the special edition of the program Malakhov Tonight, participants were invited to meetings of different years. Malakhov's guests are more than 40 artists: Prima Donna herself, Christina Orbakaite, Philip Kirkorov, Maxim Galkin, Boris Moiseev, I. Nikolaev, and others.
For many years, I. Nikolaev, A. Rosenbaum, V. Leontiev, A. Buynov, I. Allegrova, J., Bi-2, Lolita, Garik Sukachev, Anita Tsoy, Alsu, Sofia Rotaru, Philip Kirkorov, Boris Moiseyev, V. Meladze, Kristina Orbakaite, "A-Studio", "Lube" and many other famous and beloved performers. For many young stars, the project was launched into the world of show business.
