As the singer's friends told, Khvorostovsky was given the first chemotherapy sessions. Actor now mostly communicates only with doctors and with his loved ones, since he has completely focused on treatment.

Tickets from the sale are not removed: all the friends of the artist, and he himself is confident that the disease will be able to win. Already on November 10 at the Bolshoi Theater Dmitry Hvorostovsky will perform as a member of the ball of Elena Obraztsova. According to the agent of the singer, the artist will definitely take part in this concert:
"Khvorostovsky will certainly take part in this event, as Dmitri hopes that by autumn he will be all right with health"

Italian director Fabio Mastrangelo told reporters that after several procedures the Russian singer became much easier. If before it was difficult for Dmitry to move around, now he has completely restored the coordination of movements. The Italian told reporters the latest news about his friend's well-being:
"... he feels much better now, has gone through some of the procedures prescribed to him and is determined to defeat the ailment. Dmitry is making progress. Full coordination of the movement returned - it used to be a bit difficult for him to walk "
The director is surprised that Khvorostovsky gave a concert in London, while someone else in his place observed peace and bed rest. Nevertheless, the performance before the audience gave strength to the singer. Mastrangelo believes that music has a positive effect on Dmitry Hvorostovsky's well-being. The director said that Dmitry himself is sure that music heals it, and singing in small quantities goes to the artist only for good.
