Diagrams of braids for beginners

The scythe-waterfall and the basket of braids, the spit and the heart of the braid - looking at such stunningly beautiful hairstyles, you simply marvel at how the craftspeople braid this?

It turns out that at the heart of all even the most intricate hairstyles of braids are only three techniques of weaving: the classical braid, the spit and the French braid (or, as it is popularly called, the dragon spit). The rest is a matter of technique, practice and, of course, fantasy.

Weaving of the classical braid

The classic braid is braided according to this pattern:

  1. All hair is gathered in a bundle and is divided into three parts.
  2. A strand is taken from the right side and is laid over the central strand in such a way as to be between the central and left strands.
  3. The left strand also fits over the central strand and is between it and the right strand.
  4. The weaving continues in the same sequence. Each of the three strands in turn turns into a central one.
  5. The end of the braid is fixed with an elastic band.

Braiding of two pigtails

Diagram of weaving braids from hair according to the scheme for beginners

Before weaving two braids, the hair is divided into two identical bundles.

Further from each bundle, a classical pigtail is plaited.

Weaving braids in Swiss

The spit in Swiss differs from the classical braid only in that before the beginning of the weaving each strand is slightly twisted by a flagellum. This pigtail is even more beautiful.

Weaving braids «Kolosok»

The braid of "spikelets" looks very stylish. Unlike the French braid, with which it is often confused, spikelets are braided from hair gathered in the tail.

The scheme of weaving "spikelet" is as follows:

  1. The hair collects in the tail and is divided into two parts.
  2. A thin strand separates from the left half of the hair and crosses over the left half of the hair, joining with the right strand (the thin strand eventually ends up under the right strand).
  3. Then, in the same way, a thin strand, separated from the right half of the hair, crosses over the right half of the hair along with the left strand (a thin strand is under the left strand).
  4. Moving one by one, the left and right strands are braided into a braid. The thinner the strands get, the better the spikelet turns out.
  5. Braided to the end of the pigtail is fixed with a rubber band.

French braid

The scheme of weaving the French braid is more complicated than the scheme of weaving a spikelet: here the hair is not going to the tail. The French pigtail can be plaited both on very long, and on short hair.

  1. On the top of the head is a small strand of hair and is divided into three parts. Then we make several weaves of the usual classical braid.
  2. The left hair is taken from the left hair and added to the left order at the beginning of the braid (it is thrown across the central strand).
  3. Similarly, a strand is taken from the right and added to the right strand, again spilling over the central strand.
  4. Alternately repeat steps 1, 2 and 3 until the end of the weave.
  5. The tip of the braid is fixed, and at the same time it is decorated with an elastic band.

Weaving of two French braids

Feminine and elegantly looks hair, made by their two French braids.

It is done this way:

  1. The hair is separated by a middle part.
  2. Two French plaits, ending at the back of the head, are tied. The tips are fixed with a clamp.
  3. Then all the hair is joined and the weaving ends with a classic braid.
  4. It is fixed with an elastic band.

Weaving braids in the eastern

Long hair can be braided into many small tight braids. Such pigtails are especially popular in the countries of Africa and the East.

They wander like this: the hair is divided into any number of strands. Each strand braids into a very tight pigtail.
