After leaving the group "Brilliant" Julia Kovalchuk started a solo career. She began to work thoughtfully and decisively and in a couple of months she presented her solo song and the clip "Push Me" to the audience. Already her new album is almost ready. To the journalists of the star portal Julia gave an exclusive interview in which she told about her relationship with the "brilliant" ex-colleagues, producers, female friendship, bitchiness, secrets of beauty ... and much more ...
Julia, after leaving the "Brilliant", how do you feel yourself?
Very good. I can not say that it was bad there. On the contrary, I am grateful that this time was, and I remember it with joy. It just came when the stars came together for my solo career. I've been thinking about it for a long time, but I did not know exactly how and what exactly it should be. And then I met people who believed in me, and I finally realized how I see myself in solo work. And, importantly, we agreed on opinions. Now I'm happy. I do my favorite thing and take a lot of part in it. I choose music material myself, I sit with my arrangers during the information, I myself am looking for some sounds ... I have a wonderful ballet led by choreographer Yuri Goncharov. Each of our numbers is a small show. And the dances are very complicated. I understand that now I have to show the audience everything I'm capable of, to declare myself. And I understand that it will not be so easy and not so fast. But I'm ready to go to success as much as I need.
And yet, was it difficult for you to leave the popular project?
No. It so happened that on January 1 of this year I was just finishing the contract, and six months before that I had warned the producers that I was leaving. They, maybe, did not believe, but I left. And two weeks before the end of the contract, she reminded them that it would be time for me to know. We did not swear, we parted well.
Now you feel like a different person?
Not that to another. I have not changed physically or morally, I have not changed my image. I never built anybody and was what I am. But now I feel that I am a separate creative unit, not a singer in the group.
Tell us about your solo career?
We with the producer call the style in which I sing, the guitar priest. But, in any case, it's popular music. I try to make compositions with fatal sound and elements of R & B. This is not just one musical direction in its pure form. I have both beautiful lyrical ballads and light pop songs, which you can simply dance to. People who were at my first concert, then came up and said that in my songs are very beautiful words. I'm for the song to be not only musical and affectionate, but also with meaning. The album is almost ready. To date, 13 songs have already been recorded! Almost the entire album for me was written by Kostya Arsenyev. This is the author who suits me one hundred percent. Will be on the album and my songs. Some of them I wrote during my work in the group "Brilliant", but I saved them just for such a case.
Tell me, by what principle are you building your creative activity now?
There is no principle. We just try to make the program interesting, diverse. And I'm glad that real professionals work with me. We make a quality product, not without sense. And we do it sincerely. I want the spectator who came to my concert not only to have a rest, but also got a charge of positive emotions, saw a beautiful show and heard beautiful songs. And that he remember this concert, and not forget about it in a couple of hours, so he had the desire to come again and bring his friends.
And where would you still like to try yourself?
To the cinema. But I do not hurry with it. I want it to be worthy, and not for a tick. I just do not understand those who are shot just for the sake of lightening in some picture, and then they say: "I was filming in the movie! I'm an actor! "If I'm not sure that it will be beautiful and professional, I will not agree.
Tell us about your relationship with the "Brilliant" group now? Do you communicate with girls?
We did not swear with the girls. And now we communicate. The closest thing to Nastya Osipova. Recently was at the birthday of Nadi Handles. So we support communication.
What does friendship mean to you?
I will not say that I have a lot of friends. Yes, and they should not be much. But I treasure them and appreciate these relations.
Do you think there is a female friendship?
Female friendship exists. True, until some time I did not believe in it. And then in my life there was Oksana - my closest friend to date. Jeanne Friske introduced us.
Julia, how is it going with your dream - to open a choreographic school?
For the duration of the project "Dancing on Ice", I fell out of ordinary life, and work with the school also stopped. But now everything has resumed, and, I hope, this year it will open.
What kinds of dances, styles will there be taught?
There will be different styles for different ages. There's a place for everyone. Teach will be professional choreographers, as well as master classes of "stars". I want my school to become a place where people can rest from everything and learn how to move beautifully. That's all I can say for now. I will not disclose all the secrets (smiles).
Tell me, is it difficult to be a beautiful girl ?
And ugly girls do not exist. I would not say that it is difficult. Rather, on the contrary, it's nice.
They say that beautiful girls are by nature stinkers. Can you call yourself that?
I will not list all my qualities. Those who communicate with me, and so they know. I will only say that I am a cheerful, sociable, purposeful and even stubborn man in a good sense of the word. And very fair. And I can not name myself a bitch. And why should all beautiful girls be bards?
Love - do you have it?
There is. I can not live without love. And now I'm in love. This is the most amazing feeling. And I want to say to everyone: take care of your love! She's too fragile!
Now the institution of the family is increasingly collapsing. How do you feel about this?
I have quite a lot of acquaintances who live long together and are happy. Therefore, I can not say that it is completely destroyed. My best friend, for example, has been with her husband for about 20 years, and they are still so gentle and tender about each other. Looking at them, you can not help smiling and you believe that the legend about the two halves is not a legend. So they found each other, connected ...
Another thing is that now everyone is trying to make a career, to be self-sufficient. And men began to say less words of love. But we, the girls, do not need any locks and diamonds - just tell us pleasant words, say that we are the most beautiful and that we need you. And then we will be there for the rest of our days.
And what value do you put in the first place for yourself now?
Of course, love. But I'm not ready to quit my career for her. At least for now. But I will always find time for my personal life.

Sincerity, tact, humor, understanding and, of course, masculinity.
And what would you like to do now, what would no one expect of you? What are you capable of?
Recently, I already did this - I shot nude in the clip "Push Me." Nobody expected ... Yes, and I myself too. But then there was a not very pleasant incident: the sources from the filming were stolen during transportation. Very much I am afraid that they will put it somewhere on the Internet. But I want to hope that it will cost.
Do you keep to fashion trends? Or do you wear what you want, while getting to the point?
I, of course, follow fashion trends, but I wear what I like. First of all - comfort. I love jeans and dresses.
How much are you willing to spend on clothes?
A lot, but not all. I know how hard money gets, and is not ready to take and spend everything at once in the store.
Are you close to the craze of the so-called shopaholic?
No. I recently do not have time to go shopping. Therefore, more often than not, I redeem all things from stylists on the set.
Did you think about releasing your own clothing or perfume line?
Not yet. Maybe in the future I'll think about it. Now and without me there are many who wish. And I'm not used to doing something "just to be." If I do, I will seriously approach this issue.
Is it difficult to keep yourself in shape all the time? You are always under close surveillance of the paparazzi ...
Absolutely easy. I do dancing, I swim, and it keeps me in shape. Besides, my best friend is a cosmetologist. So there is no problem with that.
Have you ever wanted to escape from the world of show business?
Did not want. I like what I do. And I do not visit all the secular events and not always, so I can not say that I am tired of everything. I am primarily engaged in creativity, and this can not get bored. And I try to avoid all the squabbles and gossip.
Looking in the mirror, whom do you see? Do you love your reflection?

Very simple: I do not drink, I do not smoke, I try to get enough sleep and be optimistic. And most importantly - positive emotions. They can be from anything - from work, from a good movie, from a meeting with friends, from falling in love ...
