Michael Douglas fights cancer again, doctors give the actor six months

Last night, the latest news of American media shocked fans of Michael Douglas: the popular actor had a relapse of cancer. This time doctors make disappointing predictions. Doctors are not sure that the new treatment will give the expected effect, and give the Hollywood star only six months.

The first cancer of the larynx in Douglas was found in 2010. During the year, the actor and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones courageously struggled with the disease. Eventually, the disease receded.

The tense period affected the health of the wife of Michael, who, because of nervous tension, bouts of bipolar disorder became aggravated. The woman was forced to undergo treatment at the clinic. All this affected the relationship of the couple, and in August 2013 they were on the verge of divorce. According to Douglas, he could no longer tolerate the depression of his wife.

By some miracle, the couple was able to stop in time and keep the relationship. At the end of last year, Catherine and Michael celebrated the 15th anniversary of the marriage. In their family, two children are 13-year-old Caris and 16-year-old Dylan.

At the moment the whole family is on holiday in the Bahamas. After the release, Michael Douglas will undergo chemotherapy. Before leaving, the actor made changes to the will and began selling off his assets. Douglas expressed the desire that after his death his ashes were scattered over the Bahamas - it was from here that his ancestors were born.
