Russian superstitions bringing good luck and failure

Supernatural and something mysterious always attracted humanity, regardless of age and generation, the development of civilization and technology. The desire of a person to protect himself and create around him a positive environment for a happy life eventually led to such a notion as superstition, spreading all over the world. And in different countries, the belief in such magical powers is different. For anybody it is no longer a secret that the Russian people are very superstitious.

Black cat

As you all know, Russian superstitions or otherwise they are called - signs, depending on their purpose, can bring good luck or failure. It has long been known that if a black cat crossed the road, it is not good. It turns out that this prejudiced attitude towards black cats comes from ancient Russia. At that time, the owners were afraid to drive this animal out of the house, as they valued them very much, considering it a member of their family. Running around the village, a cat meant misfortune. But over time the number of these stray animals grew larger and larger, and this prejudice began to apply only to black cats. After all, from time immemorial black color is associated with evil spirit.

Evil eye

Russians believe in the evil eye, the so-called bad look. This especially applies to children and newborns. What is most interesting - in order to avoid this, we, the naive Russian people, need only knock on the tree - and the trouble is supposed to bypass the party. But for foreigners, the comparison of Russians - "if there is no tree, you can knock on the head", explaining that "the effect will be the same" seems very funny!

Salt

Yes, what only our Russian man will not believe, just to warn himself, to protect himself from misfortunes, to create a good destiny himself, naively assuming that everything is predetermined. Take even such a sign with salt, as if, if you scatter it, then quarrel with someone from your close people, that's what they are, Russian superstitions. But there is also a rationale here. The fact is that in ancient Russia salt cost a lot of money. Her loss could lead to assault. This is the source of this belief.

Mirror

But nevertheless there are also superstitions which have been scientifically proved. For example, a broken mirror is a bad omen. It is believed that this can lead to death in the family, or to a quarrel with a loved one. Scientists say that the mirror takes away negative energy from a person. This can explain the poor state of health, outbursts of anger, irritation of a person with a broken mirror.

But, as said above, not all superstitions are connected with the expectation of something terrible, evil, bringing troubles and misfortune. One of the most common superstitions that bring good luck is a horse horseshoe. It is usually nailed to the door ends up. This belief is explained by protection from the devil, who walks in circles from one end of the horseshoe to the other. It is this position that prevents him from going down, thereby protecting the family hearth from evil spirits.

Bucket

In the villages, of course, will accept and superstitions much more than in big cities. All this is due to a great free time, not limited to the city's bustle and the possibility of discussion among neighbors. Russian superstitions, bringing good luck and failure, are passed here from generation to generation. For example, you need to give way to a person with a full bucket - otherwise you can scare away your luck. Accordingly, having seen carrying an empty bucket, it is necessary to cross it faster than the road, in order to warn against failure.

There is also such a thing as throwing rice at the groom and the bride. Rice, as a symbol of fertility, must protect newlyweds from evil spirits.

Ants in the house, birthmark in an unseen place, broken dishes - all this for good and happiness.

Bad and good superstitions

All the signs - good or bad, bringing good luck and failure, take their origins from deep antiquity, when not completely educated people trusted only in God and superstition, hoping for the mercy of God. The good signs of our ancestors were associated with bright thoughts, thanks to which the hope of a favorable outcome of the business was instilled. But is it worth denying that even nowadays, some kind of a sign, for example, broken dishes, at some point calms a tiny hope, even if the loss is filled with some kind of happiness. After all, there are moments in life when only faith can help, even if it's not true, but even the smallest flame of hope can defeat the bad, black thoughts that so often knock us out of the way of the true.

Bad superstition, on the contrary, causes the most negative, bad, pessimistic thoughts in a person. And in such moments it is very difficult to convince oneself of the favorable outcome of the matter.

As practice shows, many superstitions brought good luck due to a softening of inner tension, peace of mind. This can lead, for example, to the positive effect of amulets that affect a person's confidence in their decisions. As, for example, it is possible to neglect such superstitions which prophesy of troubles, misfortunes and ruin. After all, sometimes it's easier to do as people's wisdom advises than to long regret about your misdemeanor.

Many believers are against superstition, explaining this by believing only those who do not believe in God, and all superstitions can be attributed to magic, most of them to black. Therefore, if you believe in superstition, then you do not believe in our Most High, such is their opinion. And in general, the more positive thoughts, good intentions and pure thoughts we will create, the less we will think whether it is worth, for example, crossing the road, not surpassing three times over his shoulder, if a black cat has run, or telling his friends and relatives in advance about their possible achievements to exclude failure. Because the more we believe in bad signs, the more often they come true. It's not for nothing that we hear more often at various trainings that our thoughts are material.

Adjust yourself only to the best, cutting yourself off like weeds, negative and pessimistic. Remember that we, and not some otherworldly forces, whether good or bad, are building our lives. And from the scenario that we plan, it will not only depend on our lives, but also on the lives of our loved ones. Be happy! And just in case, no fluff to you, no pen!
