Nowadays the term "chanson" has become an independent definition, which became known as "Russian chanson". This term incorporates various musical genres: urban romance, bard and bltatny songs, emigrant and even some variety. In the vastness of our homeland, this term appeared in the 90s. It was during these years that many performers of this genre appeared on the stage, and their songs were actively started on radio and television.
