Actor Victor Kosykh

Victor Volkov, who later becomes known as Viktor Kosykh, was born in 1950, January 27. He at an early age was left without a father and was adopted by Ivan Kosykh, who was already a famous actor by that time. Later, when the boy became an adult, he changed his patronymic to Ivanovich (instead of Nikolayevich), and Kosykh took the last name, instead of the name Volkov.

Debut in the movie

At the age of thirteen Victor came to the cinema. This happened in a completely random way. The assistant professor E. Klimov came to the school where Victor was a pupil. Her goal was to find a boy who can swim well for filming a new movie, "Welcome, or No Trespassing." Victor, like all the boys of his class, also showed up for tests.

Victor passed the tests and was approved for the role of the boy Marat, who according to the plot of the film was supposed to jump into the nettles naked. Such a prospect did not please the novice actor in any way, that's why he worked very hard during the trials and on the role of the main character Kostya Inochkin. However, this film was withdrawn from the rental just after the first few views. Since it was recognized as anti-Khrushchev and anti-Soviet.

Danka from the "Elusive"

At fourteen Victor Kosykh played along with his stepfather Ivan Kosykh in the drama "Father of the Soldier" directed by Rezo Chkheidze. And a year later, in 1965, Vitya was invited to one of the main roles of the school film "Call, Open the Door" directed by A. Mitta. Thanks to this work, in 1967 the young actor V. Kosykh received a prize at the All-Union week of the children's film - "Scarlet Carnation".

A little later there were filming in the film story "Past the windows are trains" directed by Valery Kremnev, who worked together with Eduard Gavrilov, where Victor got the main role. Because by 1966 the young actor had become quite famous. Then he was invited to his film by director Edmond Keosayan.

Edmond Keosayan decided to shoot a children's adventure film, telling about the young heroes of the Civil War. The main role of the brave boy Danka was given to Vite Kosykh.

The film was a huge success for the audience. The "elusive" many times overlooked almost all the guys from all over the Soviet Union, again and again watching how the four teenagers manage to take revenge on the hirelings of Father Burnas. In the same year the film was watched by about fifty million people. The picture was recognized not only by the audience, but also by the authorities. So, Keosayan at the All-Union week of the children's film for his film won the prize "Scarlet Carnation".

It was decided to shoot the continuation of this film. In 1968 came "The New Adventures of the Elusive Avengers", the roles in which were performed by the same actors. The success of the second film was no less than that of the first one.

Later, the final film "The Crown of the Russian Empire, or Again the Elusive" was filmed, which tells about the salvation of museum values. He was weak enough, so he had little success. Maybe it happened because the heroes grew up and the adventures were not as interesting as those in which the children participated.

For Viktor Kosykh, Danka's role became the most remarkable in his entire biography, although he later appeared in at least fifty films.

Personal life

Concerning the personal life of the actor, we can say the following: Victor lived with his first wife for eighteen years, however, having decided that they were tired of each other, the spouses parted in an amicable way.

After a break for ten years, Victor remained a bachelor. Then he met a young female investigator Elena. She was half his age, but despite this, they decided to get married. And in 2001 this daughter had a daughter named Catherine.
