American researchers came to the conclusion that children who were born prematurely, much more often later, remain childless

This conclusion was reached by American scientists who traced the fate of 1.2 million people who were born in Norway from 1967 to 1988. According to researchers from the Medical Center at Duke University, approximately 60,000 children born in this period were born prematurely. Later the boys, who were born for 28-32 weeks. were becoming fathers 30% less frequently than those that were born on time. At the birth of an even smaller term of pregnancy, the risk of childlessness increased, Geeta Swami, the study leader, brought to the attention. Boys who were born on 22-27 weeks. pregnancy, acquired their own offspring by 76% less often than those born in 37-40 weeks. And girls born on this date became childless by 67% more often than those born on time.
