At six months old, the child is already quite an independent little person who is very much interested in everything that happens around him. Parents together with him will pass from the passive stage of development, when the kid viewed and studied the world only from a crib or stroller. At this age, the children are already starting to crawl and carefully study all subjects to the touch and taste.

What do children of this age do?

We can say that six months for a child is a kind of jubilee, after all the carapace crosses the line between a newborn or a more adult baby. Children already know how:

• Surely keep your head and even sit with support. Some even stand on their legs and try to take a few steps with my mother's help.

Nursing, nutrition and day regimen

As before, you will need to bathe the baby every day, wash it and wipe it after changing the diaper. Try to give him as much opportunity as you can without pampers.

• An important stage in the regime of the six-month-old children's day is complementary feeding. Gradually let him try the food of adults, only in small portions and gradually. Give him the opportunity to eat porridge directly with his hands from the plate. Then the child can be taught to use a spoon.
• Try not to give the baby a new meal a week before the scheduled vaccination. This can cause an unexpected allergic reaction.
• The regime of the day is not subject to special changes. Nutrition is required all in the same amount, and the baby must sleep during the day. But still activity increases. For example, for a walk a kid can not sleep at all, preferring to look around with interest.

• Do not try to develop a child by force. If he does not want to sit or stand, do not try to force him. Each child is individual, and yours may just not be ready for it yet. You can only gently push him to it, spreading on the carpet of interesting toys, so that the baby could crawl to them on their own.
• As before, children learn the world not only with their eyes, but with their fingers. Therefore, let him touch everything that does not pose a visible danger: snow, wood, leaves. Much attention is attracted to moving toys. Pay special attention to those with whom you can long tinker. Of great interest are the houses with doors and sounds, or even fairly simple toys with various locks, lights or doors.
• Develop the motor skills of the child, playing with him in simple games, like "ladushki." Do not get upset if the baby is tearing paper or cloth. In this way he knows the properties of objects.
