Cosmetics from pigment spots

"Erase" pigment spots from the face and achieve an even skin tone without side effects - the task that modern cosmetology solves with the help of plant extracts. Thesis: hyperpigmentation is difficult to avoid, and bleaching agents are usually too aggressive for the skin. The idea: to smooth the skin tone with the help of effective, but sparing ingredients, which can also slow the formation of pigment.

The complexion becomes uneven, not only because of ultraviolet light. Dark spots on the skin arise due to fluctuations in the hormonal background, diseases of the endocrine system and the gastrointestinal tract, oral contraceptives, stress, trauma, hypervitaminosis and vitamin deficiency ... They are also caused by inflammatory processes in the skin (for example, acne) and traumatic cosmetic procedures. Cosmetic remedies for pigmentation spots should be in every woman.

What's happening?

Melanin is a pigment that gives color to our skin. Normally, as a natural filter, it protects the skin from the aggressive effects of ultraviolet radiation. However, melanocytes (skin cells that produce pigment) react sensitively to a variety of factors - primarily for the same sun and for fluctuations in the hormonal background. This leads to the fact that the local production of pigment is significantly higher than normal. As a result, foci of hyperpigmentation are formed, which do not pass with time, like an "ordinary" tan, - or they regularly return as freckles. Modern drugs know how to "erase" pigment spots, but they act too aggressively - this is their main drawback. The skin reacts to them with irritation, dryness, complete loss of pigment and even, paradoxically, with the same hyperpigmentation. Because the hyperpigmentation that occurred at the site of inflammation is a sign that melanocytes are too sensitive to traumatic effects. A whitening is just such an aggressive factor. It turns out a vicious circle.

A complex approach

A compromise between efficacy and careful treatment of the skin was found in the extract of the dianella mesenchymal plant, which was included in the new Clinique correction serum. This ingredient blocks the enzyme tyrosinase, which is involved in the synthesis of melanin. Thus, it slows the appearance of the pigment in the skin cells. In this case, the extract of the dianella does not cause allergic reactions. Also, the serum contains a special form of vitamin C: it also inhibits the synthesis of pigment and helps to stop the inflammatory processes. Thirdly, the composition contains salicylic acid and glucosamine for exfoliating action. And finally, yeast extract: it breaks up large pigment clumps on the surface of the skin onto microscopic particles.

Effect

For four weeks of application in a "twice a day" mode, the serum levels and improves skin tone, while the effect remains gentle and does not cause allergies, irritation, redness, dryness and flaking - the side effects of many medical preparations against hyperpigmentation. Every year, pigmented spots lead to cosmetologists 10-15% of patients. Most often, pigmentation occurs due to a skin injury: after burns, both thermal and solar, on postoperative scars, after skin inflammation. The solution to the problem of hyperpigmentation can only be complex, as in this Clinique: with bleaching substances and melanogenesis blockers, exfoliating ingredients, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and moisturizing agents. However, such means should be used for at least 12 weeks. Such a prolonged exposure is necessary to suppress melanin production and to discolor this pigment in skin cells.
