Recipe for crab salad Unfortunately, contrary to the name, crab sticks generally do not contain crab meat. And in order not to mislead people, since 1993, producers have been legally obliged to label their "crab sticks flavored". The main ingredient is pollock from the northern part of the Pacific Ocean. Basically crab sticks are used in salads as an inexpensive substitute for real crab meat. Since the moment when this product appeared on the shelves of shops we fell in love, as they say seriously and for a long time. There are huge recipes with crab sticks. In addition, they can be stuffed with a variety of minced meat and spin sushi with them.
Ingredients:- Crab meat 200 g
- Eggs quail 10 pcs.
- Iceberg salad 200 g
- Onion purple 1 pc.
- Orange 1 pc.
- Mustard French (with grains) 1 tbsp. l.
- Olive oil 6 tbsp. l.
- Salt 3 pinch
- Step 1 For crab salad you will need: crab sticks or crab meat, quail eggs, a mixture of salad leaves, olive oil, one purple bulb, orange and granular mustard.
- Step 2 First, prepare the dressing for the salad. To do this, squeeze out the orange juice. If desired, grate a little bit of zest.
- Step 3 Mix the juice of the orange, mustard, olive oil, salt and pepper to taste. Whisk with whisk.
- Step 4 Boil the eggs (cook for 2-3 minutes from the boiling point) and cut into halves.
- Step 5 Grind the onion.
- Step 6 Slice the crab meat.
- Step 7 Mix the onions and crab meat.
