Valentine in quilling technique
This technique came to us very recently, but already firmly established among the needlewomen and creative people. A bright heart, adorned with recognitions from the finest strips of contrasting paper, will be able to please the addressee with the originality and accuracy of the product. It is not difficult to make a similar postcard and even a beginner can cope with this.
Necessary materials:
- paper for quilling;
- cardboard in red or pink;
- stick for quilling;
- scissors;
- PVA glue.
The instruction on manufacturing:
- Initially, you need to prepare the basis for the future valentine. To do this, take a sheet of cardboard and bend it in half.
- Then draw the template-shape of your postcard. In this case it is a traditional heart.
- Attach the cardboard to the template and cut out a similar shape of the sheet.
- Then you should prepare the flowers for decoration. To do this, take a few paper strips in length of 18-20 cm. It is advisable to make a contrasting frame or to pick up a paper a little lighter. We use a pink tint.
- Through the entire length of the paper strip, make incisions so that the incisions do not reach the edge.
- Then wind 16 prepared strips on a toothpick or a special quilling stick.
- Remove the resulting rolls. After this, moisten the edge of the paper with PVA glue and glue a curled bundle along the contour. Frack it so that the flower will turn out.
- On a similar principle, make a frame throughout the card.
- In the middle of the heart, you can add a few confessions, paste similar quilling curls only in a different color or size. Follow your imagination and inner emotions.
- The postcard is ready!
Valentine with a pattern
This technique of creating a postcard is good because for this you do not need to be a talented artist. Its feature is precisely to draw a gentle, touching and slightly naive pattern with deliberate irregularities.
Let's get down to the action. Initially, you need to take a cardboard heart of white or any other light color. Then, using a ballpoint pen, draw quirky curls, petals of flowers, hearts and other patterns.
Then take the usual watercolor and a thin brush. Paint some fragments of the postcard in bright tones. Leave some of the patterns blank - this will give the picture a neat and effective.
The result is an original and delicate valentine. It can be given to friends and loved ones.
Thus, we considered two interesting ways of creating the original valentine. Remember that the best recognition is a confession made sincerely, from a loving heart. And it does not matter what talents you have, the main thing is to convey your feelings to your beloved person.
