How to help the child adapt to school after the holidays?

As you know, adult working people find it difficult to adapt to working working days after vacation. Scientists have proved that working people need at least one working week to join the labor process, and what to say about the student, especially small.
Probably, you noticed that after a vacation, although it is not very long, it is quite difficult for a child to return to school. Students during the holidays are usually late and go to bed, because in the evening interesting films are shown on TV, and they usually spend the day on active games, if not in the fresh air, then certainly at home.

As a result, on the first day of school after the holidays the child sleeps in the first lessons, in this case the child does not concentrate his attention on studying and as a rule does not receive high marks. To ensure that the child can adapt to the learning process without problems after the holidays, read the following simple recommendations:

1. It is known that it is more difficult for a schoolchild after school holidays, especially summer ones, to get up in the morning for classes. In order for a child to get up without problems, it is advisable starting from August to begin to accustom him to an early recovery.
Children at school are usually asked to take lessons for vacations. Try to control the fulfillment of these tasks, it is advisable not to postpone the fulfillment of these tasks for the last evening, but to distribute the tasks for several days, paying at the same time half an hour-hour for their fulfillment every day. In the evening, before the first school day, help the child to fold the backpack (do not necessarily do everything for him, just check whether he is ready for school), and also think about his outfit and prepare it so that in the morning slowly, without a long search for things to gather to school.

2. Together with the child add up the daily routine, in which there will be enough time for playing and sleeping.

3. Be prepared for the fact that at first the child will not please you with high grades and good progress, the whole point is that he is not psychologically ready for studies yet. If you plan to write a child to a certain circle or to a tutor, do not rush to it (even if the child too wants it), his body needs time for adaptation. After school, give the child a break so that he can do his favorite thing. Do not rush to sit him right after school for doing homework.

4. Even if your child is very independent and disciplined the first month of school, supervise the performance of homework, as well as watch then, so that he in the evening folds the backpack, while do not forget to encourage him in every way and in no case reproach him, but say that he has the potential and that everything will necessarily turn out for him.

5. Special attention should be paid to food. It should be nutritious and balanced, because a child spends a lot of energy, do not forget about fruit.

6. Let the child know that you love him, speak motivating words.

7. If the child does not get something out, do not scold him, because even we, adults, often leave much time after holidays. After an evening meal, take a stroll along with your baby in the fresh air. Fresh air, as is known, is the best assistant in many situations.

Be careful with the child, listen to him and ask him, be sincerely interested in his deeds, and then you will avoid the unnecessary hassle. It is not easy for children to start learning after the holidays, it is not necessary to hope that it quickly adapts in 2-3 days and will begin to receive high marks. If a child has something that does not work out for his studies and you see that he really wants to study, explain to him that after a vacation his body takes a little time to adjust again to the school regime.
