Around this drink from the coffee tree grains, the debate has been going on for decades - among scientists and amateurs and opponents of coffee. Almost every month in the press there are reports of regular discoveries related to the properties of this invigorating drink. One can agree unconditionally: coffee is not an ordinary drink, it is rather an entire culture or even a way of life.

So, if you are still not in the ranks of coffee fans - you probably just could not get acquainted with the subtleties of its use and preparation. Would you like to know how to make natural coffee at home?

To start a little theory. From the botanical point of view, we can distinguish three of its types: Arabica, Robusta and Liberica. The first of these is represented by oblong grains, which are most often depicted on various promotional items and coffee packages. Arabica is known for its rich aroma with numerous shades and characteristic sourness. Robusta has rounded grains, it has no sour taste, but there is characteristic bitterness, and the caffeine content in robusta is larger compared to Arabica (up to 2.3%, while in Arabica it is not more than 1.5%). Liberia - the most little known sort of coffee, widespread little and not having such a vivid taste, as its famous "relatives".

The quality of water for properly cooked coffee is extremely important. The ideal option is the key water or at least thoroughly filtered. There is an opinion that tap water, even boiled, destroys the taste palette of coffee. True coffee muffins and instant coffee are not recognized, calling it "synthetic product" or "drink for the lazy." Of course, there is no dispute about tastes, as the well-known proverb says, but a cup of freshly brewed coffee made from freshly ground coffee beans will bring incomparably more satisfaction compared to the mechanically poured powder from a package or jar.

Important in the preparation of coffee and the fineness of grinding the grains: here you need to be able to observe the measure so as not to grind the grains either too finely or excessively large. With very fine grinding, the coffee dust will pass through the filter, causing the coffee to become cloudy. If coffee is ground too coarse, it will take a very long time to infuse the drink - during this period the drink risks losing the lion's share of both taste and aroma. It is impossible to describe with certain concrete figures: the sense of a measure is acquired exclusively with experience. It should be remembered that prolonged infusion of ready-made coffee leads to the appearance of bitterness in the beverage, hence the conclusion: you need to calculate the time so that the coffee at the time of readiness could immediately be poured into cups.

You can name innumerable useful for the health properties of coffee: among them, and its ability to increase mental performance, and the charge of vivacity, which gives a cup of a fragrant drink, and activating the influence of coffee on the work of the heart - it is not for nothing that coffee firmly fixed the symbol of morning awakening. This effect of caffeine on the human body lasts from 2.5 to 3 hours. At the same time, the calorie content of the drink is negligible - only about 2 calories, and at the same time the cup of coffee still gives a feeling of satiety.

There are several nuances of how to make natural coffee at home. For example, adding a couple of crystals of table salt to the ground roasted coffee just before cooking improves the flavor of the drink. Warming up the cooled down drink is a kind of taboo: when heated, the drink loses its flavor. It should also be remembered about the maximum shelf life of roasted coffee in grinded form - this period is no more than 6 months if the package is hermetically sealed.

Coffee has long been considered an international drink. However, in different regions their own traditional ways of preparing it took root. You can shine with your knowledge and skill before the guests, if you know how to properly brew natural coffee at home with recipes developed in different parts of the world.
