Xenia was born in the Crimea. Already in her childhood she surprised everyone with her masterpieces. I drew on everything that came to hand - on the walls, stones and even cars! And how could it be otherwise? After all, interest in painting and talent Ksyusha inherited from her mother-artist. After school, she dreamed of enrolling in an art school. But my mother did not support the choice of her daughter. She graduated from this school and knew firsthand that the artist's profession does not bring stability.
The school is a school, and you, my daughter, should have a higher education, - she did not tire of teaching her daughter.
Therefore ... the girl had to get two higher education. Red diploma in the specialty of "psychologist" she defended, being in the fifth month of pregnancy. But during her studies Ksenia did not forget about art. And when the son Dimochka was six months old, the young mother defended her thesis on the specialty "graphic artist".
My beloved gave me a dream
When they met, Igor worked as an editor of one of the Crimean magazines. In addition, as it turned out later, he was a theatrical director, with his theater and troupe. Acquaintance began with the fact that a young man invited a beautiful girl to a photo shoot for the magazine as a model. Already in the editorial office they started talking, the guy asked the model with interest what she was doing. How happy he was when he learned that Xenia was an artist! And immediately shared his "Napoleonic" plans. He told that he had already invented a theatrical production for a long time, in which one of the leading roles is given to sand animation. Xenia had no idea what it was. But the guy did not embarrass at all.
He continued to enthusiastically tell that he accidentally saw this rare and unusual kind of art on the Internet, and for about a year he has been looking for an artist.
- I jokingly asked if many artists had tried it. To which Igor quite seriously answered: "Fifty, and among them very eminent." And almost all of them, after watching the animation clips, said that it's easy, they will cope. All were taken, but no one was able to complete the work to the end. To me, on the contrary, it immediately seemed that this is a very complex material, "recalls Xenia.
But the girl did not frighten the girl. She realized that she would be interested to get acquainted with this kind of art. But all the same, I did not agree immediately, I thought for a long time about the proposal. And finally, one day, she came to the office, said: "Give your sand!" I tried. What she did and how she liked it.
The world became a picture of sand
- From that moment I started to see the world in the form of a sand painting. I'm not kidding. I just adjusted my vision and perceive light, color, tone and semitone as it can be conveyed in the sand, - the artist shares.
But the sand animation had to wait four whole years. The girl was invited to work as an artist in the magazine. And soon she herself became the mistress of one of the Crimean glossy editions. He and Igor got married. And when their son turned a month, the first issue came out. But in September last year, a crisis broke out, and it was necessary to suspend publishing activities.
Xenia paints pictures of sand for less than a year. For four years she had ideas in her head, and, finally, the dream came true. The creation of a full-fledged number often takes at least a week, and sometimes the film is suddenly "born" overnight.
"As a rule, movies are made for sick children during the night, the themes of war are what excites me," the heroine confides.
By the way, the number about the war, shown in the semifinal of the show "Ukraine May Talent", was invented just like that, in just one night. Not for the show, but for the Victory Day. He was dedicated to a very concrete event - the opening of the memorial "Krasnaya Gorka" in Evpatoria. At this point in the war years, the Germans shot 12,650 local residents. At the opening of the memorial were to be attended by veterans, as well as many people. The girl dedicated her story to the memory of the victims and heroes of the war. She presented it in a modern design, so that the youth felt it in their own way, in the wake of their era, but in no way remained indifferent.
- I want to make the topic of the Great Patriotic War acute and relevant for my peers, and especially for those who are younger than me. It seems to me, it was possible, - not without pride Xenia tells.
Show this number the artist decided not immediately . But then she did not regret it. All Ukraine, looking at the talent of Xenia, was crying. The transformation of the number into a masterpiece takes place not without the participation of Igor, who does the arrangement, voices all the works of his wife. Ksenia rehearses for about five hours every day. Now she has helpers who help bring up her son. And before the project, she could train only at night. By the way, the son for her is the main inspiration. Therefore, almost every work of Xenia is present or implied a child. The most beloved heroes and themes of the paintings are children, pregnant women, mothers with children, the sea, the city.
- It's not so important what to draw. My feelings are important during the creation of the image. Feelings that I must convey to the viewer.
Live, Sunny!
It turns out that Xenia decided to participate in the contest "Ukraine May Talent" in order to help the nine-month-old Nick, a girl who has been in coma for more than six months. Part of the winnings became the material base of the Charity Fund of Xenia Simonova "Live, Sunny!". This fund is already helping little Nick and other children with severe illnesses. His work is also aimed at helping pregnant women who are experiencing material and psychological difficulties who refused to have an abortion and decided to have a baby.
- Initially, the movement "Live, Sunny!" Was against abortion, but then we began to learn about sick children, and decided to help them, - says Xenia.
The "Live, Sunny" Foundation provides pregnant women with everything they need for a baby: pays for childbirth, medicines, vitamins, supports psychologically.
After the show
After the project "Ukraine May Talent" the life of Xenia cardinally changed. Now she does what she loves, and for this she receives recognition. And after the contest, the artist restored the work of her magazine.
One by one, Xenia paints pictures on the sand, putting them into separate pieces of life. She is one of the best in this genre. And what's next? The artist is preparing her own exhibition "Sand Man", where about 300 paintings will be presented. Part of the exhibition - a huge picture of paintings from the sand and fragments of animation rooms. The second part represents Xenia as a classical and contemporary graphic artist. The girl confesses that she dreamed of her own exhibition all conscious life. Moreover, it will be held in Ukraine, Vienna, Paris, London, Los Angeles. If possible, the pictures will return to Crimea in a year.
Soon the long-awaited play will take place , which Igor once told about his future wife with enthusiasm. A young couple is preparing for the world premiere! In their plans, the opening of the show-theater "Sand Club" in Evpatoria.
It would seem that all the desires of a talented artist, actress, beloved wife and happy mother come true. But...
- I also dream that there should not be unfortunate children. So that each child had his own personal happiness!
