Maria Maksakova in a wedding dress will sing in Kiev in memory of the murdered Denise Voronenko

In Russia, interest in the recent murder of the runaway State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov does not cease. In addition to the question of who ordered the murder of Denis Voronenkov, the public is interested in the issue of the fate of the late widow of Maria Maksakova.

The latest news from Kiev on this topic is rather chaotic and sometimes contradictory.

Maria Maksakova will remain in Ukraine until her deceased husband "lets go"

Upon learning of her husband's death, Maria stated that she would immediately leave Ukraine and go to Germany, of which she is a citizen. After Voronenkov's funeral the widow changed her mind and stated that she would remain in Kiev until her husband let her go, referring to the ritual nine and forty days after the death of the ex-deputy.

Today there was information that Maksakova decided not to cancel the concert planned earlier in Kiev. The singer is going to dedicate her performance to the memory of her deceased husband and appear on stage in a wedding dress.

Maria decided to remove from the repertoire of merry songs, and the rest of the singer will perform in Ukrainian:
... I will remove two funny songs and I will sing this program in Ukrainian in memory of Denis on the ninth day. He was Ukrainian, died Ukrainian and buried in Kiev. I think that many will explode the brain, most likely from the fact that I did it. But I think I should do it.

Tickets for the concert of Maria Maksakova, which will be held on March 31, are already on sale in the box office in Kiev.

Will Maria Maksakova return to Russia?

At the same time in Russia, very many sympathized with the grief-stricken widow and consider her return to Moscow correct.

Ksenia Sobchak expressed the opinion that the opera diva will find it difficult to continue her career in Ukraine, because she before the departure to Kiev conquered the world's leading scenes, taught at Gnesinka and sang at the Mariinsky Theater:
Sooner or later she will want to communicate, tour, sing and even, perhaps, build a personal life, which is so tragically cut short. Of course, she can do this not in Kiev, but only in Russia
The former colleague of Maksakova on the State Duma, actress and deputy Elena Drapeko also believes that it is better for Maria to return to Russia, rather than shuffling around Europe with a small child. Actor Stanislav Sadalsky told reporters that Maksakova's parents are also waiting for the daughter to return home with her grandson, despite all the disagreements that arose between them after the appearance in the life of Mary Denis Voronenkov. Recall that immediately after the death of her son-in-law, Lyudmila Maksakova rather sharply spoke in his address. She believes that it was he who got her daughter into her dirty criminal games, because of which she had to flee shamefully to Ukraine, taking her family with her and thus breaking Maria's life and career.
