Russian Paralympic athletes were not allowed to perform in Rio de Janeiro

Until the last minute, hundreds of thousands of fans were confident that justice will triumph today, and CAS (Sports Arbitration Court) will abolish the unfair decision of the International Paralympic Committee to prevent the Russian national team from participating in competitions. The latest news stunned admirers of the Olympic Games - CAS rejected the claim of the Russian Paralympic Committee. The Russian national team will not participate in the Paralympic Games, which will be held in Rio from September 7 to 18.

About 270 excluded paralympic athletes were not even accused of using doping, so it is simply impossible to find any logic in the decision of the CAS and the International Paralympic Committee.

Undoubtedly, for Russian disabled athletes, the suspension from the 15 Paralympic Games was a real blow. The whole country is trying to support the Paralympic athletes.

Actress Ksenia Alferova together with her husband Yegor Beroev on behalf of the charitable foundation "I am!" Appealed to the members of the International Paralympic Committee with a petition in which they asked to allow the Russian national team to compete. The petition published on the website Change.org collected more than 250 thousand signatures, but the appeal of Internet users was not taken into account.

Now, after the final decision to remove Russian athletes from the games in Rio, Ksenia Alferova calls to continue to collect signatures. The actress believes that the Internet community should show that it is not in agreement with the unfair decision:

We created a petition to support our Paralympians and achieve justice. We really hope that we will collect at least one million signatures. It is important to show together that we do not agree
