These days, Stockholm hosted one of the largest festivals of the LGBT community in Europe. In the capital of Sweden flew Sergei Lazarev, who performed before the audience several of his popular compositions.

A popular Russian performer often performs in gay clubs, so the latest news about his appearance at the Sexual Minorities Festival in Stockholm did not become a sensation.

The audience, gathered in Pride Park, took Sergei Lazarev very welcome.
In Europe, it is commonly believed that Russia is extremely negative about members of sexual minorities, so Sergei Lazarev's speech as a representative of Russia pleasantly amazed the audience. The performer thanked the audience for their support at the recent Eurovision Song Contest 2017.

Shortly before the gay festival Sergei Lazarev talked to journalists who asked about his attitude towards members of sexual minorities that come to his concerts.

The Russian singer replied that for him there is no difference between spectators:
I'm happy that I have such a different audience: different nationalities, religions and sexual preferences. I really love and appreciate all my audience.
