Shchi with sprats in tomato Stuffed cabbage soup with canned sprats in tomato sauce, an unconventional combination of ingredients for cabbage soup, however this recipe has perfectly taken root in many families. There is another way to prepare this dish - with the addition of beans, then it turns out thicker and more satisfying. Such soup is better not to be hot, but already cooled and brewed.
Ingredients:- White cabbage 0.5 pcs.
- Salt 2 tsp.
- Unrefined sunflower-seed oil 75 ml
- Parsley fresh 0.5 bunch
- Canned food "Sprat in tomato" 1 can
- Tomatoes 2 pcs.
- Potatoes 2 pcs.
- Pepper sweet 1 pc.
- Carrot 1 pc.
- Onion 1 g
- Pepper black ground 0.5 tsp.
- Step 1 To prepare the cabbage soup with canned cabbage we need white cabbage, potatoes, onions, carrots, sweet peppers, tomatoes, "Kilka in tomato", fresh parsley, sunflower unrefined oil, salt and black ground pepper.
- Step 2 Clean potatoes and cut into cubes, rinse. In the pot, pour the water, throw the potatoes into it, put it on a big fire, let the water boil, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook, covering it with a lid.
- Step 3 In the meantime, the onions and carrots are cleaned, pepper is mine, free of internal partitions and seeds. We cut the vegetables into small cubes.
- Step 4 In the frying pan pour the sunflower oil, pass it cut vegetables until soft carrots.
- Step 5 Tomatoes, remove them from the skin, cut into cubes. Add to the fried vegetables and fry first on a high heat, then we languish until the tomato juice is evaporated.
- Step 6 Add the sprat together with canned tomato sauce. Simmer on a slow fire for about 5 minutes.
- Step 7 Thinly shred white cabbage, pour it into the pan to fully prepared potatoes. We give the water to boil, we salt it and the variation for about 5 minutes, without covering it with a lid.
- Step 8 Then add the roast to the pan. We cook for about 7 minutes.
- Step 9 Grind the green parsley, add to the soup, pepper to your taste, mix and remove the pan from the fire.
- Step 10 Let's brew and serve the table as the first dish for lunch.
