Spanish manicure

Recently, among the female representatives who follow the fashion, Spanish manicure, distinguished by a deep saturated color, became especially popular. This effect is achieved by using as a base not a transparent lacquer, but a matte or milky white. Applying on such a basis is not even a particularly bright tinted varnish, you can achieve an amazing result. For example, if you apply a lacquer of pale pink on the matte beige base, then the illusion of sealing the nail plate is created. Such a manicure looks perfect on thin nails. What is permissible in the Spanish manicure?
The Spanish manicure implies the use not only of pastel tones of varnish, but also of more bright, screaming shades. In this case, the number of colors on the nail can be any. It can be two colors when a matte base is applied to the nail plate, and on top of it a large part of the nail is painted in one shade of the decorative varnish, and the remaining free part (with a small grip of the previous color coating) is covered with a different color of the decorative varnish. As a result, the nail is as if convex in the middle, which makes it look very original, stylish and even visually lengthened. But it should be taken into account that optical elongation is achieved only with the longitudinal application of colored strips, the transverse ones make it shorter.

Covering nails in two colors can not only stripes, it will look great alternating two tinted varnishes along the entire length. For example, choosing bordeaux and pink lacquer as decorative flowers, you can apply pink over the entire length of the nail plate (on a matte base), and on top of it, apply a thin coat of red lacquer in any direction.

Thus, the Spanish manicure allows the use of several colors of varnish, not caring about their combination. That is, these varnishes can both harmonize and contrast with each other.

Technique of doing Spanish manicure
When doing a Spanish manicure you can use not too bright colors of varnish. For example, having covered a nail plate with a matte varnish-basis, from above put an even more light covering (pale pink or pearlescent). Thanks to this, the visual effect of the seal of the nail plate is achieved, and the very combination of colors gives a rich natural shade of the natural nail.

Example of Spanish manicure: Striped nail
The technique of performing such a manicure is traditional: first a transparent base layer, then a pale matte layer, and then a color coating of two or more tint varnishes. First, a lighter, decorative shade of lacquer is applied to the matte base. For example, this is a gentle pearly and brick color. After the lacquer base dries, the nail is completely covered with pearl lacquer. After completely drying it, apply thin strips of brick lacquer (in any direction). And finally, the result is fixed by a special tool.

Example of Spanish manicure: Two-colored nail
Performed quite simply: the nail is covered with a matte base. A colored lacquer of the same color (the big half of the nail) is applied from above the well-dried base layer and again dried well. The remaining non-painted space of the nail plate is covered with another tinted varnish with the capture of the first colored layer. The result is a rather interesting effect visually elongated nail.

It should be noted that in the salons of manicure today the execution of Spanish manicure is not a cheap procedure. Therefore, dear girls, master the basics of this art, and you will always be gorgeous!
