A gift for yourself on Christmas: an angel of polymer clay, a master class

Holidays make our life brighter and more beautiful. Traditions dictate us to give gifts on these solemn days, and I want them not to be just unnecessary trinkets, but a thing with soul and meaning. And what can be more spiritualized than the figures of angels ?! With the help of polymer clay, you can make stunning pupae, which will surely please your family and friends.

For work you will need:

• Plastic working surface
• Nippers
• A piece of copper wire
• Toothpicks
• Black beads of medium size
• Piece of plastic for molding
• Oval Shape
• Polymer clay in four colors: red, white, black, brown

Manufacture:

1. First of all, we roll out a ball of white clay. It should be the size of a large grape. Roll out and give it a cone shape. This will become our foundation. Do not worry about the prints that you left on the clay, they can be painted over with paint.
2. We roll out a layer of white clay in such a way that we can wrap our cone in it. We form picturesque folds. Angelic clothes are ready.
3. Roll out a small piece into the sausage, a little thinner than the diameter of the pencil and about 3 cm in length. Make two more balls of brown color. Attach them on both sides of the sausage. Take a toothpick and use it to connect the body and arms of the angel.
4. Now we make a head: roll a brown ball, use a toothpick to make holes for the eyes and insert beads into it. Draw a little face, instead of a nose, attach a small piece of clay, put your head on a toothpick.
5. From the red clay form a small heart and insert it into the angel's hands. Do not bend them so much that they do not break. Lightly press, so the heart is better to gain a foothold.
6. It's time to do hair: cut from black polymer clay strips of different lengths and twist them into spirals. Carefully attach them to the crown and fix a piece of wire that will mimic a halo.
7. There was the last touch - the wings. Take the iron mold and squeeze out and a piece of clay two wings. Tools for modeling make them various irregularities. Cut off two pieces of wire and insert them into the wings with one end, while the other is attached to the trunk. We cover the figure with a gliter and everything is ready!

How to make an angel out of polymer clay for Christmas

Another funny work can be done in just five minutes. You will need a polymer clay of beige, brown, white, blue and yellow

Manufacture:

1. We roll a blue piece of clay into a ball. We squeeze it between the fingers and give it the shape of a bell.
2. Next, make a small flattened circle of white color. This is the head. We put it on top of the trunk and lightly press.
3. Two blue droplets will be in our place instead of handles, and brown sausages - instead of hair. From the yellow clay we make a halo and a small book that the angel will hold in his hands.
4. At the back we attach two wings and draw a face, as shown in the picture. Here is such a Christmas angel.
