Vegetable decay
Vegetables and fruits are also introduced into the infant's diet first in the form of puree. It is important that it is homogenized, that is, homogeneous. And for the first complementary food, choose puree from one kind of vegetable or fruit. Only after you make sure that the crumb does not show signs of allergy or food intolerance, you can mix already tested vegetables and fruits: a pumpkin or carrots - with an apple, a pear - with a banana. In the second half of life, fruits are allowed in raw form: apples and pears peeled. But berries and grapes (pitted, of course) are offered to children not earlier than two years: they are easy to choke. This is also true for green peas and corn: for babies up to two years they are carefully rubbed in any of the dishes. When a child begins to cut his teeth, he can offer a piece of a solid apple or carrot to scratch the gums. The main thing is for the child to eat in front of the mother: the baby must slurp the product, and not bite off the pieces that can choke.
Transition rules
When preparing mashed potatoes, leave a few slices for the baby to have something to do with the teeth. Let's rougher, unaccustomed food in small portions - for one bite. If the baby coughs, it may be too early for him to sit at an adult table. Return to this issue in two or three months. Never push a piece of food into the child's mouth by force. Better place a mixture of bright vegetables on a plate and let me take them with your fingers. When you start offering slices, do it daily. After a year comes the turn of soups: first - as a puree made with a blender, and then - with pieces of potatoes, onions, carrots, vermicelli (they should fit in a small spoon of the baby). Vegetables on the second floor in the form of a stew, which my mother kneads with a fork. When to stop peeling apples, pears, tomatoes, etc., vegetables and fruits from the skin !? About one and a half to two years. Peel is actually useful because it contains pectin, and it also stimulates the intestines - it "irritates" it and makes it "stir."
Cereals
When the baby turns a year, do not get carried away with powdered instant porridges: in a homemade mashed potato from whole grains of porridge there is much more fiber that normalizes peristalsis (children with constipation are very useful dishes from buckwheat-yadritsa). Bread is introduced into the baby's diet in the second half of the year. Black and gray are more useful than white. For the tranquility of moms, a special baby cookie is invented, which does not crumble, but dissolves completely in the mouth (but this does not mean that you can keep crumbs with it alone if you give such a cookie). Macaroni-horns appear in the diet in 10-12 months. Kids are very fond of this dish for the fact that it is convenient to take with your hands.
Fish Day
In 10-12 months allowed to enter the menu of the child's white non-fat fish. Any fish is crumbed with fingers and chooses bones, which the kid can choke - this mother will have to deal with until the little one learns to operate with a knife. Fish cutlets and meatballs become a part of the children's diet as early as 12-15 months.
Teeth are OK
In order for teeth and jaws to develop correctly, children need to gnaw, so in their diet must necessarily be a carrot or a solid apple. But from the mashed porridge and biscuit (not to mention sweets and citrus) teeth one harm: they destroy tooth enamel.
