Beyonce (Beyonce) turns from an acting singer into a singing actress. Former vocalist Destiny's Child accepted the invitation to appear in a new film, which this time will not have anything to do with music - in a thriller called "Obsessed".
The partners of the singer on the set will be the famous actors Ali Larter and Idris Elba. Beyonce took the role of the wife of the character Elba - the manager of the bank, pursued by a mysterious stranger (played by Larter).
The director of the tape is Steve Schill, known for working on such popular TV series as "Law and Order" and "The Sopranos". Filming will begin this summer.
As previously reported, this year Beyonce will also star in the film "Cadillac Records", dedicated to the influential blues label Chess Records and its performers - Ette James, Muddy Waters and Chuck Berry. On account of Beyonce for today there are already several serious roles - in the tapes of "Dreamgirls", "Pink Panther" and "Austin Powers".
