Fashion designer Slava Zaitsev

Fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev was born in Ivanovo on March 2, 1938. He studied at the Ivanovo Chemical-Technological College, which he graduated with honors in 1956. Together with the certificate, he received the artist's profession of painting the fabric. Then he entered the Textile Institute of Moscow, which he also graduated with honors. Was distributed to the Experimental and Technical Garment Factory of the Mosoblsovnarkhoz in Babushkin as artistic director.

Since 1965 for 13 years he worked in Moscow in the All-Union Fashion House, located on the Kuznetsky Most. During this period he created costumes for television, cinema, stage, theater, figure skating for orders.

In 1979 he replaced the All-Union House of Models for a small atelier. In 1982, Zaitsev created from him the Moscow Fashion House, leading and leading him to the present day.

In 1988, VM Zaitsev was granted the right to display the collections by the Paris Meuse de Couture. Russian artist was awarded such an honor for the first time. In the fashion world, Vyacheslav Zaitsev was named Man of the Year and awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Paris.

In 1992, a book about Zaitsev in English was published under the title "Nostalgia for beauty" of the Novosti publishing house. In the wake of her publishing house "Image" published a book of his poems and graphics with the title "I owe everything to Providence." In one of the branches of the cosmetic firm L'Oreal the production of the first spirits of the fashion designer Zaitsev "Marusiau", and then the new line of the Zaitsev's "Maroussia" project, including lotions, creams, soaps, deodorants, was launched.

In Belgium in 1993, an experimental party of chairs was created, created according to the sketches of the Russian couturier. Zaitsev created a collection of clothes "FROM Couture" from fabrics and furs in cooperation with the French company "Revillon".

Since 1993, Slava Zaitsev is president and chairman of the jury of the annual contest of domestic collections of models and fabrics in Ivanovo "Textile Salon." Zaytsev's activities include holding seminars, consulting artists, organizing the festival "Children's Fashion" in the city of Ivanovo, participating in defending the diplomas of students of the IHTA.

In Russia, 1994 was marked by the holding of the first contest of young fashion designers named after. N. Lomanova. In addition, Zaitsev leads the competitions "Velvet Seasons in Sochi", "Golden Needle" (children's creative teams of Fashion), "Exercise" (competition of students and teachers sewing lyceums and colleges). Despite employment, V. Zaitsev is active and conducts creative work with young artists, designers and fashion designers. Zaitsev's activity is a kind of selfless work of the intellectual in the name of Russia, for the prosperity and development of a talented people.

Throughout his creative activity, V. Zaitsev thinks and acts unconventional, many-sided. He is a man of subtle nature, in love with his homeland. Vyacheslav Zaitsev created a lot of costumes for various films, performances staged in Moscow theaters, as well as for variety performers and collectives. Moscow Fashion House under the leadership of V. Zaitsev has turned into a center of education and the formation of a good taste, and Zaytsev Fashion Theater is engaged in the most spectacular form in the propaganda of beauty. Thanks to Zaitsev's efforts, the Russian fashion has a world level on par with such fashion legislators as Italy and France. Tours of the theater are held in Canada, Finland, USA, Germany, India, Sweden, Austria, Italy, etc.

V. Zaitsev was married to Marina Vladimirovna Zaitseva. Has a son Egor Vyacheslavovich Zaitsev (also a designer) and granddaughters Nastya Zaitseva and Marusya Zaitsev.
