Biography Jean Paul Belmondo

Today, fate suddenly decided to play a story with an older actor, as if taken from his films: crime and a beautiful woman. Biography Jean Paul Belmondo successfully formed, because of all the fault of his love for women ...

A real star

The son of a well-known sculptor and artist, Jean Paul was not interested in art at first. At first he was not interested in anything at all, except for boxing, football and girls. Then I got carried away by the theater, and at the same time with cars and motorcycles. By the time of the release of "At the last breath" Belmondo was already 27 years old, but to his first big role he reacted like a boy. In his own words, he was "fooling around" because he was sure that not a very intelligible story about an irresistibly cute but completely immoral type would never reach the screen. The story did not just get through - it became a hit of the season, and exclusively thanks to Belmondo. This is the main distinguishing feature of this star: it can not be "done", it "makes" the film itself. Criminal drama will remain a favorite genre of the actor, but also he will play in comedies, action films, thrillers and adventure films. And all these pictures will be kept on Belmondo, and for half a century there will be half of the French film distribution on them.

An idol and a favorite

Not every star is allowed to be an idol - Belmondo was. Many of his films were famous for dangerous stunts, and all the boys knew - the actor never resorted to the services of stunt men. He was already over 50, when he almost died during the filming of the Canadian film "Robbery" (1985).

The French resigned themselves to the fact that Belmondo after this incident almost abandoned the movie and returned to theatrical stage. They did not want to lose their favorite. His lop-eared face with a broken nose, a unique smile and an unchanged cigar or a cigarette in the corner of his mouth was considered, if not "the face of France", the personification of the "French spirit" (which he wants to see the French themselves) - the frivolous and indestructible joy of life. And unlike his friend Alain Delon, Belmondo and the last time did not drag on a sleaze of dirty sexually-criminal scandals.

A Frenchman and even almost a Parisian at the place of birth, Belmondo is in fact an Italian, since his father and his mother are of Italian descent. Like every Italian, he was noted for his fanatical devotion to the family. In 1988, Belmondo was awarded "Cesar" (the French equivalent of the "Oscar"), but Jean Paul refused to accept the award because the author of the statuette of "Cesar" once disrespected about the work of his father.

He early created his own family: he married at the age of twenty, and by the time he was thirty he had got three children-two daughters and a son. His marriage broke up in 1965 - his wife did not forgive Jean Paul of the novel with Ursula Andress (the first "James Bond girl"), although no normal man could pass by the main "sex bomb" of that time. On the actor's screen always accompanied spectacular women, in life Belmondo also preferred beauties, but he never advertised his novels, never answered, not one question about his personal life, and none of his "ex" responded about him a bad word.

As for the children, they remained "his" children. Unlike many star dads, Belmondo did not become that force to push his offspring into show business - for example, his son Paul went to race drivers and still has not come down this path. But the actor never, in anything, refused to his children and was proud of the fact that the newspapers call his family "clan". And she remained a clan even after an entertaining story with two Yorkshire terriers.

Mighty men are often sentimental. The same goes for the biography of Jean Paul Belmondo. Belmondo's sentimentality turned into a love for small dogs - Yorkshire terriers. About this his weakness knew the whole of France: the actor, like a secular lady, loved to walk, holding his favorite Maya in his arms. In the spring of 1989, he traditionally visited the opening of the season at the famous Paris court "Roland Gaross" (over the years tennis has become one of his favorite hobbies). Having sat down in a box, Belmondo lowered Maya from his hands, and next to her a dog of the same breed appeared. Both Yorkshire joyfully wagged their tails, and the touched actor began to look for the owner of the doggie. It turned out that this is a mistress, and even in his taste: a sturdy blonde with a ballet posture (since his ex-wife, he liked women with a choreographic past).

Of course, one can not say with certainty that the meeting of the two Yorkshire Terriers was a happy accident - happiness does not just happen so easily, they need to be engaged. It is not excluded that the former dancer Natalie Tardivevel knew where to find Belmondo, and applied a simple but very effective way of acquaintance. Whatever it was, but Belmondo fell in love. Of course, the new lady could have serious friction with his children: 24-year-old Natalie was two years younger than Zero - the youngest of them. However, it was with Paul that she quickly found a common language and was without resistance accepted as a member of the "clan".

Here it is - a real "golden autumn"! An aging but physically strong man with a great fortune, favorite business and beloved young woman, with whom he spends his free time on trips to the tropical islands. If only fate did not demand payment for their gifts!

In 1994, the first thunder struck: Belmondo's eldest daughter, Patricia, was killed in a fire in her own apartment. What happened there, is not exactly known at that time, Belmondo did not allow the press into his personal life. It is known only that on the evening of the same day he came on the scene - this actor is not on the play only in case of his own death. Natalie Tardivel was there - she persuaded the theater management to give her a place in the crowd. So I went for a whole year to see the performances, and the relatives of the actor had already started to visit vague suspicions - is not Natalie too closely guarded by Jean Paul, who is not even associated with her any legal obligations.

Belmondo quickly recovered, everything settled, and life went on as usual. Of course, the actor gave a few, but still looked, according to friends, "strong as a rock." Nobody expected a blow on the sunny August day of 2001: Belmondo played soccer with friends in Corsica and suddenly collapsed like a knuckle - a stroke. Consciousness returned quite quickly, but speech was taken away, and the body did not obey. Doctors believed that the light of life in the eyes of the actor can fade at any time.

He did not die, and Natalie did not leave him again. Relatives have got used to it for the previous twelve years and did not expect a dirty trick. So they received a New Year "gift" at the very end of December 2002: Belmondo and Natali unexpectedly legalized their relationship. Natalie assured me that Jean Paul himself had proposed to her. Of course, this is doubtful: a turbid consciousness, a disobedient body, a speech that is practically absent - in this state a person is unlikely to make responsible decisions. On the other hand, Natalie has given her life for so many years that it is difficult for her to refuse to try to secure her future. Relatives of the actor, of course, felt otherwise. The press wrote: "There was a squeak of teeth: the children of Belmondo saw that another pair of hands stretched to the family pie". Paul Belmondo immediately stopped talking with his newly-born stepmother, with whom he had previously maintained the most friendly relations.

Very soon the children had an even more serious reason for unrest, although the events took the turn of a sad and vulgar comedy: Natalie became pregnant. The 70-year-old, barely speaking and moving Belmondo, became the father of a girl who was called Sophia. Natalie thoroughly strengthened her position and celebrated motherhood by opening her own PR agency. A young daughter was engaged in an old papa, and it was good for him: physical strength, of course, did not return, but speech, movement and clarity of thinking were restored - the actor even returned to the stage. At the same time, the press wrote that Belmondo looks sadly at the situation in his family. It is clear: yesterday, an idol and a hero, the patriarch of the clan, and today even close people look at you as a burden, a stumbling block on the way to a bag of money. It's sad to realize that you are still a living bear, the skin of which is already enthusiastically divisible in your mind. Maybe that's why the bear decided to play pranks for the last time.

Divorce in French

In March 2008, a new sensation broke out: Jean Paul Belmondo divorced Natalie Tardivevel as suddenly as he had married. Everyone decided that adult children won, but the reason was different. It is called "shaking youth".

Immediately after the divorce, a certain Barbara Gandolfi appeared next to Belmondo. 33 years old, nationality is unknown, lives in Belgium, where for a long time she was a star of local beauty contests and Reality show, as well as local Playboy. No, she is not a headless model: together with her husband (there is a husband, as well as two small daughters), Frederick Vandeville manages a network of Belgian strip bars and clubs for swingers.

The situation turned out vaudeville. Natalie Tardivel still lives in the Parisian house Belmondo: it occupies one half of the building, the actor is different, and the border between the possessions is a wide staircase. The real boundary is: the former wife does not allow the actor to see her daughter under the pretext that his mistress can exert a "disruptive influence" on the girl. In fact, there is no mistress in the house. She lives with her husband in Belgium, but willingly invites TV journalists to her bedroom, the walls of which are decorated with posters of old films by Belmondo, and says: "This is the true love of two adults." Belmondo and Barbara meet at resorts, where the actor who has rejected his principles willingly poses before journalists.

In the summer of 2009, the vaudeville suddenly turned into a criminal drama. Natalie Tardivevel began to receive letters with threats of physical violence. She immediately blamed the former husband and his mistress for everything, sued, but a couple of weeks later, Belmondo himself received a fierce letter. An anonymous author demanded of him to "fall behind Barbara Gandolfi", unless the actor wants to "receive a parcel with the head of his little daughter." Puzzled Parisian police, just in case, put round-the-clock protection to all members of the Belmondo family. True, Natalie Tardivevel expressed suspicion that the actor himself wrote a terrible letter, but the press suggested that the ears could grow out of the "nightly amusement empire" owned by Gandolfi and her husband. Someone (probably a secret investor) could have worried that a loud novel attracts unnecessary attention to the enterprise.

If this "someone" exists, he was late: in the beginning of autumn the prosecutor's office of the Belgian city of Bruges covered one of the nightclubs of Barbara Gandolfi during an operation to combat money laundering. Under the impact was the entire network, and in the house of Barbara were found defamatory financial documents, including those signed by Belmondo. The actor became a witness in a criminal case, although he claims that Barbara "is not guilty of anything," and that he is "very happy" with her. Journalists asked Belmondo if Barbara Gandolfi was not like the "fatal women" that the heroes of his films often had to deal with. The actor said quietly: "Those were not so beautiful." He was in vain - they were more beautiful. Even at the last breath you can not spit in your youth. In the biography of Jean Paul Belmondo there was only a little bit of everything: tears, and love, and even death.
