But, nevertheless, after leaving school the young man did not choose the path of the artist. On the contrary, he decided to devote himself to exact sciences and technology. Therefore, Michael entered the Riga Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers. After studying for some time at this higher educational institution, the young man moved to Moscow and completed his studies at the Moscow Aviation Institute. He has a diploma in which it appears that Zadornov received a specialty as a mechanical engineer. After graduating from the university, a young specialist remained at the department, initially occupying the position of a simple engineer, and then became a leading engineer. But, despite responsible and serious work, Michael could not forget about his craving for the stage and performances. Therefore, in parallel with the work, he began to participate in artistic amateur performance. The institute had its own student drama theater "Russia", in which publicistic performances were staged. It was there that Zadornov spoke. An interesting, intelligent and artistic young man immediately liked the audience. Crowds of people constantly came to the performances in this theater, Zadornov literally bathed in applause. In 1975 he even received the Lenin Komsomol Prize for his talent and creativity.
