It is difficult to find an absolutely healthy woman. Many pregnant women have vegetative-vascular disorders, they are manifested due to unstable blood pressure. In the body of a woman, two circles of blood circulation are already working for one baby, and the other for her own. During this period, the load on important organs (heart, lungs, liver) increases. And to give these bodies a load you need under the close supervision of an experienced instructor or doctor.
Can I go to the bathhouse pregnant?
All women can be divided into two groups, the first group includes those who often go to the bath, the second group includes those who decided to go to the bath while pregnant. These and other women can be advised the following:
- Discuss with the doctor who observes your pregnancy, your health and the opportunity to go to the sauna or to the bath.
- Know that at different times, pregnancy proceeds in different ways.
- If you are going to visit the bath, you do not need to do this in the first and third trimester of pregnancy.
- In the second trimester, you can visit the sauna or steam room together with a qualified instructor. In order not to provoke an abortion, even if you are an experienced steamer, you can limit the load in the steam room.
- At other times, you need to visit a bath taking into account your condition and only a doctor can objectively evaluate it, because often the state of pregnancy does not correspond to their condition.
- You should be more responsible to the child and yourself, do not enter the steam room "in proud solitude," it is better to go to the company or with an instructor.
Rules for visiting a bath for pregnant women
- When you come to the bath, do not go straight to the steam room, but only when the skin warms up and the capillaries slightly expand.
- Going to the steam room, do not wet your head and always put on a turban from a towel or cap.
- For the first time, go for 5 minutes to the steam room, lie down or sit on the bottom shelf. Watch your pulse and your health, the pulse should not be more than 120 beats per minute.
- After the steam room you need to wash off the sweat and wipe yourself off.
- Before the next visit to the steam room, you need to sit in the waiting room for 15 minutes in a cool room, wrap yourself in a sheet, drink herbal tea to replenish the loss of moisture.
- Another approach to the steam room can be done up to 10 minutes. This will depend on the level of training and your health. Control your health and more often measure your pulse.
- Depending on your preparation and your well-being, you should take an air bath, which means you can rest and just not sit in a hot place. You can immerse yourself in a bath with cold water or in a swimming pool, or chill with cold water or take a cool shower. Due to temperature drops, immersion in cold or cool water, will be a heavy burden on the body, this method can be used by trained women after permission of the doctor. But it is better to refrain from these stresses in such a critical period.
- The last time, leaving the steam room, wash with soap using a whisk, a brush or a sponge. Horny skin particles can be exfoliated during visits to the steam room, for this purpose, apply the product to the skin and wash it off after leaving the steam room.
- Before you go outside, you need to cool down a bit and rest. This can take from 15 minutes to one hour. When you come home, you should lie down for a while.
