There is much in the hematogen of vitamin A, which is necessary for good vision, strong bones, healthy hair and skin, for immunity in general. The drug is even recommended as a component in the treatment of eye diseases, as well as to restore the functions of dry skin.

With a lack of iron in children, there may be a lag in development, in growth, frequent illnesses. In this case, the hematogen is indicated for administration.

Hematogen is prescribed for low hemoglobin, frequent bleeding, to support the process of recovery of the organism after infectious diseases, as well as for chronic diseases that are accompanied by bleeding. Contraindications to hematogen.

Like all medicines, the hematogen has a number of contraindications and some side effects. The drug contains easily digestible carbohydrates, so it is contraindicated to take it for diabetes and obesity. Easily assimilated carbohydrates are the cause of fermentation in the intestine and, as a consequence, the intake of hematogen can cause loose stools and nausea.
