Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Beat the eggs. Add half and half, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and mix thoroughly. Pour this mixture onto the bread cut into cubes and mix lightly. Pour the mixture into the baking dish. Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and pour on vanilla ice cream.
