Flower garden all year round

Few can say that he does not like flowers. If you are not allergic to pollen, then for sure you find some flowers beautiful. Many people like to plant flowers at home to decorate their homes, add vibrant and vivid colors. And not for nothing, flowers can positively influence our state of health and mood. Only for some reason, not everyone is able to grow beautiful and healthy plants. If you want to try your hand at this difficult task, then you need to know a few rules that will help create a real garden in any home.

First, calculate the number of plants correctly. The smaller the room, the more furniture in it, the less must be the plants and the smaller they should be. The fact is that even flowers need air, light and space. If several pots are huddled on one meter, it will not be either beautiful or useful for flowers.

Secondly, plants are part of the interior too. Choose those types of colors that will not contrast with the situation of the room. If the room is made in a laconic, quiet style, then the coloring of the flowers and the shape of their leaves can be anything. In this case - the fancier the plant, the more profitable it will look against the background of the rest of the situation. If the room itself is bright, saturated with bright colors, patterns and complex lines, then choose flowers with large dark leaves that are devoid of lush and bright inflorescences.

Thirdly, if you think about the interior and the colors, as its parts, then choose a place for flowers so that it harmonizes with the rest of the situation. It can be a low table or a place on the shelf, but not endless banal shelves and coasters, which, moreover, often get in the way.

If you follow the novelties in the field of home floriculture, you probably know that now it is very fashionable to try to grow a few plants in one pot or flowerpot. This idea is not devoid of common sense, many flowers very successfully complement each other. The only problem is that not all of them can coexist side by side. Therefore, before deciding on such an experiment, find out about the properties of the flowers that are going to be made by neighbors.

Choose pots from natural materials. It can be wood, clay and ceramics. In such pots, flowers feel much better than plastic or iron, because natural materials "breathe", let in air and allow the soil to be enriched with oxygen.

Remember that indoor flowers are very delicate creatures. For their health and long life, light, humidity and heat are needed. Some flowers like light more, others less, but these features must be taken into account before deciding where to put this or that flower.

Once a year the plants need to be transplanted. It is necessary to completely replace the ground, drainage, make feeding. Transplant the plants in the spring, when the snow is almost gone. The lower the temperature outside the window, the higher the risk that the plant will not take root. In winter, plants require less water, but more protection. Do not expose them to draft. You only need to water the flowers once every three to four days. In summer, flowers require more frequent watering, but when the room is not too hot and when the flowers do not get direct sunlight. To feed flowers it is necessary basically only in the spring and in the summer, as since autumn they as though run into hibernation. This applies to all plants, except for those that bloom all year round.

Another necessary condition for a long life of a flower is proper care. It is necessary to regularly clean the leaves of the plant from dust and dirt to open the pores. This is done with a soft cloth and clean water without any means. It is better to use boiled or filtered water at room temperature.

In summer, plants can be put on a balcony, but not under direct sunlight and not during strong winds and rain. And remember that the plant gets accustomed faster when it is young. Therefore, it is better to grow a large palm itself than to bring it from the store.

Flowers are always beautiful. It lifts the mood, recycles carbon dioxide, decorates our homes. If we treat them with care and attention, then the green plants will please us year after year, becoming more and more beautiful.
