Oyster mushrooms in the home: basic rules.

Cultivation of the house's cheeks is usually done in two ways: extensive (in beds) and intensive (within the enclosed space). Of course, in the first case you will be able to please yourself with oyster mushrooms for only about five months, but the second way to grow the veshenok promises you harvest all year round. It was about the intensive way of growing mushrooms that we decided to talk more in detail.

Oyster mushrooms in the home: the first stage.

Before you begin to directly cultivate the veshenok at home, you must necessarily find and purchase a mycelial oyster mushroom. Just with the help of this mycelium, or rather, on its basis, and sowing is carried out, and then growing mushrooms. To confuse the mycelium is very difficult. As a rule, it is germinated on wheat, and it can be purchased in pre-packaged form. These can be special packages of several kilograms in size.

The second step on the way to growing the veshenka will be the purchase of husk sunflower seeds. In this case, the husk of seeds serves as a soil in which mushrooms will grow and grow. It is best to buy a husk at a special plant where sunflower oil is produced.

The process of preparing "artificial soil".

Before sowing oyster mushrooms, carefully and diligently prepare the soil from the husks of sunflower seeds. To do this, we take the husk and boil it in boiling water, after which we spread it and let it cool down. Then we need to take a package of huge sizes and to hammer into it the already cooled husk. Remember that the very first layer of husk should not exceed five centimeters. Now we can safely pass to the mycelium, which we need to break and finely crumble. So we produce the mushroom sowing, which is done on the area of the first layer of husks. Having finished with the first layer, we lay the second layer of husk, we sow the mycelium and similarly do with the third layer.

By the way, the mycelia of oyster mushrooms per package in total should be used, approximately, 250-300 grams. In each package should be about five or seven layers of mycelium. It is not recommended to exceed this number. Now we are using a strong thread to tie a package. It is best to use kapron threads, which are used in the process of firming the soles of shoes.

Having received the finished block, we should make cuts of small length on the sides of the package. Due to these incisions, the oxygen required for growth will arrive at the mycelium. To avoid spillage of the package, it is necessary to cut 15-20 pieces of notches.

So we prepare the necessary number of packages, which are best placed in a damp place. Such a place can serve as a basement.

After 15-20 days on packs a layer of dense moss is formed, and their color will turn whitish. The first shoots will appear from the cut holes on the bag. These shoots are called primordia. These shoots need moisture very much, but it's not recommended to water them with water. It should be ensured that there is a sufficient level of moisture in the room, only then the growth of the vernacular will bear fruit and results. In a week and a half you will be able to observe already full-grown mushrooms grown at home.
