When placing ornamental plants, it is necessary to take into account the room conditions. For the vast majority of houseplants, the main one will be the window, because first of all green friends need light. For this purpose, window sills and places located not far from windows can be used.

The most light-loving houseplants are placed under the windows, and less photophilous - near the windows. Shade-tolerant plants can be placed in lighted corners at a distance of 2-3 meters from the window. Ampel (hanging) plants hang closer to the glass, but not close to or reinforced in the wall brackets next to the window.

To the light are particularly demanding herbaceous flowering plants. Therefore, first of all, they need to allocate space on the windowsills. Every small flower (cacti and photophilous deciduous plants) should also be installed on the windowsills. In extreme cases, you can near them.

When placing flowers in a room, it is necessary to take into account not only their natural requirements, but also their decorative and artistic value, the possibility of their best grouping. In the latter, in essence, the purpose of the cultivation of ornamental houseplants is to be achieved. Therefore place them so that they are easy to see and decorate the room.

If you have a stone or marble window sill, then the pots with the joints need to be installed on wire supports (lattices) or specially built wooden ones, because in direct contact with such an aquarium pot, the root system of plants will overheat in the summer and supercool in the winter. It is not necessary to put a house plant close to the fire, since the leaves in contact with them, in the spring or summer, can get a sunburn that is completely unnecessary to them, and in the autumn-winter period it can decay from excess moisture, and freeze from the cold.

At the windows of plants put on various stands, hills, tables and other devices. Flower tables, artistically decorated, are called jardinierekami. On them in the middle set room plants of medium height so that they do not come out vertices out of the window. Near them are already grouped lower plants, and on the edge of the ledge are placed curbs, small, with hanging shoots.

High plants, such as palm trees, laurels, philodendrons, figs and others, are set on low stands (benches) or on grating pedestals on the floor. On the hills, pots with indoor plants are placed depending on their photophilic, decorative and architectural features.

For climbing plants, trellises (various supports) will be suitable for the grid side, along which the plants, clinging and wrapping themselves around the slats, will rise upward. Trilges are installed near the windows near the illuminated walls directly at the window sills.

Flowers, vibrant and bright, will make your home truly cozy.
