How to please the authorities

To understand why you underestimated the authorities, we will go from the opposite. What you have to do to please management and, in particular, the boss, and, accordingly, what you did not do, what it's time to start.

1. Put forward ideas

First of all, the management loves enterprising and creative people who are not afraid to express new ideas, implement projects, actively participate in the life of the company. Of course, the process of creating an idea is complex, it can even be called creative. Here either fall, or not fall. By the way, you can stimulate your imagination.

For example, look for new information from the area in which you work, buy special literature, visit useful websites on the Internet. So, in a free minute, start not to correspond with your friends, with whom you can talk at any time, and get acquainted with your competitors for work, with their ideas. Try to look at the fact that everyone sees in another plane. Be observant and do not be shy to promote the idea. Understand that even the most original projects will not develop and will not be appreciated if one does not stand up and find those who can listen and "buy" the idea.

2. Enter a new professional level

Are you improving in professional terms, are you actively attending refresher courses? Excellent! Now pay attention to the fact that the real pros and each other interact. This is not just about colleagues in the office, but also about competitors. Attending forums and presentations, ask questions that you do not understand. At such conferences and meetings of specialists there are agents from recruiting companies who identify the most active. Take the opportunity, start new acquaintances. So in your place of work you will be able to show yourself more clearly and earn the respect of management.

3. Being able to celebrate one's virtues

Reading professional literature, do not be lazy to write a letter to the editor or a review in the journal. Your goal is to gain authority not only from your boss, but also from colleagues in a broader sense, that is, those who are brewed with you in the same pot. Oratory skills and the ability to teach yourself how important in the work. It is much easier to notice an intelligent person, if he is just above everyone, that is, he acts. The excitement will have to be overcome - so does every strong person. This is normal, so, a little fidgety, you will calm down. To do this, you need to prepare a speech in advance so that "Emmm ..." does not slip during the performance. Rehearse, let relatives and friends listen to you, do not get lost and write everything on the sheets. Have a stock of jokes, funny and paradoxical stories, quote wise men and philosophers. Replenish constantly the treasury of knowledge. And as for modesty, it is not always a positive quality at work, so boasting (in the good sense of the word) is a useful activity.

4. Be proud of your work

The bosses are pleased to know that it is an honor for you to work in such a large company. Do not be afraid to praise your place of work, position it as the best place in the world.

5. Be disciplined

Are you late for work every day for half an hour? Wrong act, we think you yourself know about it. You need to come before the leadership, because he may have an urgent request to you or to your absent colleague, whom you with skill can replace. Do you like to slip out early for about twenty minutes? Too wrong. Firstly, because it's cowardly, and somehow scamperedly demonstratively leave before everyone else from work. Secondly, if in your company the concept of time management is present, then you need to follow it. There is a certain time when you must come and go. Follow him. As for the delays at work, it is often perceived as your failure. Usually at work most others sit that person who did not manage to fulfill all his duties for the time allotted to him, and not a workaholic. The latter is better to come early in the morning than will sit until night. So do not stay, but if you are asked to stay, then it is not worth resisting actively. There is clearly a serious reason for the delay.

6. Never Say ...

There are phrases that spoil any positive impression about the employee. They characterize him as a dependent, unrelated person who does not know how to distinguish the main, does not observe subordination or is simply a fool. For example: "It's probably not important, but I'll say ...", "I can not ...", "I do not know how ...", "I do not like ...", "I do not want, that's all ...".

These important rules will help you attract attention and change the vicious grin of the boss for a sweet and grateful smile.
