How to wash mazut from clothes

Fuel oil is a derivative of oil refining. The name of the product occurred, presumably, from the Arabic word "waste". A very common product, which is used as fuel and lubricants, so there are opportunities to spoil clothing with a stain from fuel oil abound. How to remove fuel oil from clothes
  1. The earlier you start to remove the stain, the easier, faster and cleaner it will come down.
  2. If the clothes are not one or two spots, but several, or the spots are large, you will need to process the whole thing, and not just delete individual spots.
  3. After processing, the item must be washed twice. The first wash is necessary manually, in the basin. The second wash can be trusted by the machine, since a high temperature of 60-90 degrees is desirable.
  4. Forget about acetone. He enters with irreversible chemical reaction with fuel oil, as a result of which burned whitish spots form on any tissue.
  5. Note that the tissues are all different. Maybe the way you choose does not fit your clothes. Before cleaning the stain, try the product on the underside of the seam. If after an hour the fabric does not deform, boldly proceed to cleaning.

Method 1: Liquid for washing dishes
Apply to the stain a dishwashing liquid ("Fairy" or "AOC" is recommended), soak in warm water, and then wash in the usual way. To soften the stain, you can pre-lubricate the stain with butter.

Method 2. Flammable materials (gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel)
Moisten cotton pad in gasoline, kerosene or diesel fuel. Moving spirally from the edges of the spot to the center, erase the stain. Manipulation should be done quickly. If the item is heavily soiled, it is recommended to soak it completely in a bucket of gasoline for 3 hours, and then wash, as was said above.

Method 3: Aromatic oil
One clean cotton pad is placed under the spot. The second disc, moistened with eucalyptus or pine oil, erases the stain. It works on artificial and natural tissues. But it is possible that the effect will not appear immediately and it will be necessary to repeat the procedure again.

Method 4: Car Shampoo
Shampoo can be bought in a car dealer, you can ask for a small amount on a car wash. The principle is the same as when washing with a dishwashing detergent. Apply the shampoo on the stain, after half an hour, wash it in the usual way with the powder.

Method 5. Iron with blotter paper
Dense, well absorbent paper, preferably blotting, put on both sides on the stain - outside and on the underside and iron with iron. Fuel oil will go to paper. Perhaps there will be a stain that can be removed with eucalyptus oil as described above.
