The famous gallery owner is more known in Ukraine as a secular person. We conducted an interview with the famous secular person Tatiana Franchuk. It so happened that art excites the public less than the personal life of the stars ... In the past, there were 10 years of marriage with the famous businessman, ex-son-in-law of President Kuchma - Igor Franchuk. Now Tatiana is actively developing her business, she is independent, happy, loved and full of plans for the future.
Tatyana, is it difficult to start a new stage of life?
We are all adults and we treat everything with understanding, relying on the experience of the past. At the moment I have that happiness that can not be bought: my beloved children, a man, a house and a job!
How do you manage to combine two such different hypostases - a successful business woman and mother?
Three years ago I opened the gallery of contemporary art "KyivFineArt". And in fact, now you can safely say that this is one of the leading galleries in Ukraine. We cooperate with the best artists of Ukraine, Russia and Europe. My activity as the owner of the gallery is now focused on the promotion of our young and talented artists in Western Europe. Therefore, traveling abroad became an integral part of my life. I like it and I combine everything with active rest. But by the way ... I never travel without my sons. And, when traveling abroad, I combine business negotiations with rest. Most often I choose time and place so that during foreign missions I had time for negotiations, business meetings and at the same time, so that my children would take a maximum of information from each place of our stay. This, of course, does not concern the summer holiday - when we purposefully go to rest.
Is it difficult to be the mother of two sons?
The thing is that I'm quite strict mom. My sons are educating and accustoming from the very childhood to certain rules of behavior. This applies to their communication with their peers and elders, behavior in public places, at the table, etc. In addition to the school, they attend sports sections, are quite choosy in music and art, despite their young age ...
What are your plans for professional work?
Now I am actively engaged in international projects. This concerns the promotion of our artists abroad. In the next year I want to bring to Ukraine one of the most famous artists in the world, which, of course, will not pass without a trace for the cultural life of the country and will give the prospect for developing strong contacts with world galleries. The interest of the world cultural elite towards Ukraine is quite large, and I would like to strengthen the position of Ukrainian artists on the world arena thanks to my gallery. It is very important for me to talk about Ukraine all over the world! After all, for me Ukraine is life. And life is Ukraine and I in it.
