Is it really a bad foul language?

Probably each of us at least once in my life, yes resorted to "strong words." But still, as a rule, decent girls try to do this as rarely as possible, and some even reproach themselves and suffer the martyr's remorse after the unwittingly obscene words. But is it really so bad, in fact, to allow yourself to swear at times sometimes?
A bit of history
What we call mat today, in fact, was an obligatory element of the rite of fertility during the time of paganism and was perceived quite naturally. Confirmation of this is the huge number of different villages, villages, cities and rivers, which still from that era got cacophonous, by our standards, names. However, with the spread of Christianity in Russia, pagan ceremonial words passed into the category of disgraced and gradually began to be replaced by the church, since they were called "indecent." But swear words still for a long time did not lose popularity among the Old Believer stratum of the population. And officially they were banned in written prints only in the 18th century.

The use of abusive language
And today, like many years ago, curses are not just words. Scientists involved in the study of language, calculated that abusive vocabulary performs more than 15 different functions. So, with the help of swearing, you can raise the morale not only in yourself, but also spur on the accomplishments of others. Sometimes obscene expressions allow a person to relieve stress and get a kind of detente. So, if a heavy object, such as an iron, suddenly falls on your foot, then if you just say something like "oh, it hurts something like ...", you will still feel the tension for a long time, and if you at this moment swear well, you will immediately feel moral relief.

Foul language expressions also serve as an expression of anger and aggression towards unpleasant people and are used to frighten and frighten an opponent. Just like in the animal world, animals growl, they build terrible grimaces and bristle their hair as the enemy approaches.

Another function of foul language is the ability to cope with fear and fear with it. Expressed as "bad" words, a person as it creates a kind of protection around himself and feels more confident.

Despite the fact that curses are a seemingly natural and even useful phenomenon, it should be noted that not all use them in the same way. Even at the present time, when the mass culture is permeated with frivolity (we can hear foul language on the radio, from the TV screen, read on the pages of newspapers), some people do not have the habit of expressing themselves at all, but there are those who do not just swear, but simply constantly talking in abusive language.

It depends, of course, first of all on education. If parents have instilled correct cultural attitudes in their childhood, then, after growing up, a person will follow them in the future. Of no small importance is the type of character and the nervous system of man. Choleric people - quick-tempered and easily excitable, use obscene expressions usually more often than balanced phlegmatic patients. However, it also happens that a person who has been brought up in an intelligent cultural family and who does not correspond to the image of a motherfucker resorts to abusive words. A modest, sweet, charming girl, disingeniously dressed and with a minimal makeup on her face suddenly gives out such that her ears curl up into a tube. It is impossible to believe that she generally knows such expressions! But it is possible that she learned them specifically, in order to feel more confident and relaxed in certain situations. Or it happens that the employee has worked all her life in a complex team, where without strong words, no task or project will be performed in time. The team has changed over time, and the habit of foul language is preserved.

Compared to men, women usually use obscene language less often. And not only because in the female body the hormone of testosterone is less produced, which is responsible for the aggression, but also because it is simply accepted in purely male companies. If a teenage boy does not know indecent curses, then it will be much more difficult for him to join the company. A grown man who is unable to convey the essence of the whole conversation in a few strong words, most likely will not be able to be a leader. In general, of course, society as a whole is negative about the use of battle. And if the flow of obscene words is directed at us, it is perceived very negatively and is regarded as a deep disrespect.

How to get rid of bad habits
There is one more danger: it is proved that our speech and intellectual abilities closely interact. If we have a habit of speaking in the same type of situations with template expressions (and the math is precisely these patterns), then this does not allow our brain to develop.

British psychologists have analyzed the speech of several hundred women and found out that the more correct the girl talks, the more successful she is on the personal front and in her career. Even special courses on the development of speech are organized, where various exercises are offered to rid speech of parasitic words, including unprintable ones. So, instead of a "bad" word you need to pronounce some absurd, not related to the conversation a word, for example "gypsumff", instead of "e-klmn", "devil" or "pancake". A person, when making such a substitution, understands that the expression sounds silly and funny, just as the curses in his speech are inappropriate. Another way to get rid of clogging the lexicon is silence. After using obscene language, people often cover up their inability to correctly build a speech, place accents and pause. In addition, having learned to remain silent, people learn to listen to the interlocutor as well, which, you will agree, is a very important and valuable quality.
