For several centuries, in many countries on April 1, the custom of joking each other invariably remains and, if the rally was a success, exclaim joyfully: "From the first of April!" This Day is not included in any calendars of significant dates and national holidays, but it can be attributed to international ones, since it is equally celebrated in Russia, Germany, England, France, Scandinavia, and even in the East. In some countries April 1 is called the Day of Laughter, in others - the Day of the Fool.

When and where the custom of teasing each other on the first day of April arose, no one knows for sure. On this account, there are several versions. Some attribute the birth of this holiday to Ancient Rome, where in the middle of February was celebrated the Day of the Silly. Others believe that the holiday arose in ancient India, where on March 31 celebrated a holiday of jokes. Another version is connected with the pagan celebration of the beginning of spring on April 1, when the joy of the coming heat aroused in people's souls the desire to laugh and cheer fun at neighbors. In addition, it was believed that on April 1, waking up the house and that he was not too active, it was recommended to distract him with all sorts of jokes and jokes.

By tradition, on this day it is customary to play friends, domestic and colleagues. But there are also known more large-scale April Fools' and hoaxes, which were conducted through the mass media. April Fool's rallies through the media are regulated by law in many countries. For example, in the US, the media are obliged to warn that they are joking.

A person is able to laugh at the age of about four months. As you know, laughter is the best medicine for any disease. A smile adorns the face, and laughter prolongs life and strengthens health.

Nowadays, doctors have been able to scientifically explain the beneficial effects of a smile, laughter and fun on the human body. It turned out that when a person laughs, blood flow to the brain increases, gray matter cells get more oxygen. There is a kind of "biochemical storm" that eliminates fatigue, cleanses the upper respiratory tract and improves blood circulation in the vascular system. A gland of internal secretion begins to produce substances that relieve the headache.

Some women, fearing wrinkles on their faces, try to restrain a smile and, even more so, laughter. But the "mask of seriousness" deprives the face of living emotions. But laughter from the heart tones the muscles of the face, and the flow of blood pretty nourishes the skin, which is necessary to maintain its tone. A smile is a positive emotion caused by a certain psychological reaction of an organism to a situation: everyday picture, sharp word, drawing, etc. Such an emotion is extremely necessary for the body.
