The total time of the massage should not be less than one hour. After the session, it is very useful to visit the pool or sleep.
To get the therapeutic effect of a massage against scoliosis, regular sessions every other day are necessary. On average, the course of treatment is 2-3 months.
Prophylactic massage against scoliosis
If the child does not suffer from curvature of the back, but does not attend sports clubs and spends a lot of time at a desk or a computer, then a preventive massage will be very helpful. The main movements of this massaging are based on grinding and gentle pressing of the base of the palm on the spine. A week is enough for only a couple of sessions for 15-30 minutes, but thanks to this, the risk of problems with the spine will be reduced to a minimum.
