- granulated sugar - 3/4 Cups
- cornstarch - 1/4 cup
- Butter - 5 Art. spoons
- cream - 1 cup
- milk - 1/2 cup
- vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoonfuls
1. In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cornstarch. Set aside. In a small saucepan on low heat, mix 4 tablespoons of butter, cream and milk in half with cream. 2. After the butter has melted, gradually add a mixture of sugar and cornstarch, continuously whisking. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture becomes thick and creamy. This will take approximately 10-15 minutes. 3. Remove the cream from the heat and mix with the vanilla extract. 4. Immediately pour the resulting cream over the finished pie crust and sprinkle the remaining 1 tablespoon of melted butter. 5. Sprinkle the cake on top of the cinnamon. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees until bubbles form on the cream cream. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Then cool in the fridge, cut the cake into pieces and serve chilled.
