"Rusfond" intends to sue with relatives of Zhanna Friske

A year and a half has passed since the death of Jeanne Friske, and the question of the money collected for her treatment has remained open. As many remember, the fundraising was announced in the program of Andrei Malakhov "Let them talk" on January 20, 2014. In a short period, almost 68 million rubles were collected, of which 30 million were directed for the treatment of 8 children.

Then Zhanna Friske thanked everyone who transferred their money and expressed a desire to help sick children. Of the remaining 38 million rubles, "Rusfond" received supporting documents from close Jeanne for about 13 million, and the 25 million withdrawn from the accounts still do not have documents confirming their intended use.

Earlier, "Rusfond" already appealed to the prosecutor's office to investigate the circumstances of spending charitable funds, but according to the results of the investigation, the criminal case was not instituted. The charitable foundation appealed against this decision.

Guilty in the case of "missing" money Jeanne Friske find a court

Today it became known that "Rusfond" appealed to the Perovskiy court of the capital to find out the fate of the disappeared millions that were collected for the treatment of Zhanna Friske. The latest news appeared on the official website of the organization.

For all this time, the singer's relatives have not provided Rusfond with the necessary confirmation of the targeted use of funds in the amount of 25 million rubles.

The charitable foundation, realizing how delicate the situation is, notes that there was no other way out:
We deeply mourn the death of Joan. Appeal to the court in the current situation is a purely compulsory measure, but necessary to find out the fate of the donations that have not been spent, and, if possible, return them and send them to the treatment of seriously ill children. We understand that the litigation will touch on very delicate issues, usually not allowing public intervention.
Whether it will be possible for the court to do what the Prosecutor General's Office failed to do, time will tell. We, in turn, will continue to monitor the latest news in this intricate story.
