We cook potatoes in French with minced meat according to a simple recipe.
Few remember that the homeland of potatoes is not Europe and not Asia, but South America. The tubers of this fruit came to us on ships of merchant expeditions in the 16th century. Since then, a lot of time has passed, and the whole world, and Europeans in particular, appreciated the variety of dishes that can be prepared from potatoes. Among them is the recipe for potatoes in French with meat, which is very popular with us.

How to cook potatoes in French with meat?

One of the most delicious recipes. Tender potatoes with cheese with pork or chicken will not leave indifferent neither the guests, nor your relatives. This is the central dish of the table, a classic of cooking, with many fans.

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. We peel the potatoes from the peel and cut into small squares;
  2. We divide the potatoes into two identical piles, one of which we put in the bottom of the mold, evenly spreading over the surface, having previously smeared the bottom with sunflower or vegetable oil. Lubricate the mayonnaise with a vegetable, but not too thick;
  3. We beat off the meat, cut it into small pieces (can be squares or a strip) and spread it from above;
  4. We clean and cut the onions, which we lower on pork;
  5. At the very top again we lay potatoes;
  6. Add seasonings, pepper, salt at your discretion, pour out the grated cheese on a large grater, water with mayonnaise and at the very end add greens;
  7. Bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes.

If you decide to use instead of pork - chicken, then take the breast, which must be additionally boiled or fried. The cooking time will be reduced by 10-15 minutes, and the dish itself will become less caloric. Experiment, everything is in your hands!

How to cook potatoes in French with minced meat in the oven?

Classical French fries are prepared using chicken or pork meat. Let's try to replace it with minced meat, which will allow us to reduce the total cooking time, and give the potatoes the shape of circles. In addition, such a replacement will not harm the taste of food or flavor, and the finished dish will look even more beautiful on the table, and the total cost of ingredients will decrease.

  1. We peel the potatoes from the peel and cut them on the roundworm;
  2. Potatoes should be divided into identical piles, one of which we put on the bottom of the dishes. Grease is recommended with melted butter. Circles do not pour too much mayonnaise;
  3. Approximately 250 grams of minced meat is evenly distributed over the surface of the first layer of potatoes;
  4. We clean and cut the onions, which we lower for minced meat;
  5. At the very top again we lay potatoes;
  6. Add seasonings, pepper, salt at your discretion, pour out the grated cheese on a large grater, water with mayonnaise and at the very end add greens;
  7. Bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Attention: in the baking process it is not recommended to use all the cheese prepared for potatoes in French. Leave a small portion and twice during the baking period open the oven, pouring the grated cheese into the mold. This will not allow the upper layer to burn. Try to distribute the ingredients evenly, this will affect the shape and taste of the finished product.
